I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I received a letter from the company which I have attached that states they had to reeducate their employees as to how to inform customers of what they were receiving. This to me is admittance that they did wrong, misinformed me as to what I was receiving, and should be enough for them to waive this bill. The problem is that I asked for a service and was told by two different people that I would be getting that service, then after receiving the service I was told weeks later that in fact I received a different service and was now being billed for that service. That seems like a bait and switch kind of tactic just so the company can bill unsuspecting customers for things they were unaware they were getting. In addition, I spoke with an individual at the compliance office that openly admitted that this misrepresentation of services happens all the time and it is a common complaint. Something should be done so this does not happen to other customers.
