Review: In 2011 I purchased a refrigerator from Sears with an icemaker. Sear Sub contracted the installation to Hudson Installers. However, the faulty install was not discovered until On 1/*/14, while attempting to stop a leaky faucet, I went under the sink to cut the water off. It was then discovered that the original pipe work, which was flex piping had been removed, and with it the main cut of valve for the hot water. A level was put in place, but that leaver lead to a apparent open pipe, that when moved gushed and extreme amount of water all over my entire kitchen floor causing damage. Sears was contacted and a claim number was issued for the damage. Sears also left a message for the installer named in this complaint stating that they had to return to my home to do the work and that Hudson installers, who did the original faulty installation that caused damage to my home would have to come back and fix it. I am currently waiting for them to contact me.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay for another contractor to come and correct this issue and to pay for the damage caused to my kitchen floor.
