Business Response to a Complaint Complaint ID#: [redacted] Company Name: Hudson Mfg & Machine Shop Company Contact: [redacted] Company Phone: ###-###-#### Company Email: [redacted] Person Who Sent the Complaint: [redacted] Staff Member: Response: First of all we are a Job shop we do this kind of work on a daily basis, we put ball joints and bushing's in all the time with using a torch and heating the part up, sometimes it's the only way you can do it, We have been in business since and as far as I know we have never had a problem or complaint with heating a A-frame up and taking the ball joint out and pressing the new one inHere is what happened, his girlfriend came in to pick the part up, I filled out her invoice and she was going to pay with a credit card, we was having trouble with are credit cart machine and I couldn't get it to take her card, I apologized to her a couple of times and told her it wasn't her card it was the machine we had been having trouble with, she starts cussing and says this is [redacted] ridiculous (she is cussing in front of two other customers) I said I'm sorry mam I'm doing everything I can she says to you want me to pay with a check I said that would be fine she stomps out to her car and brings back in $cash and throws it on the counter while still cussing and grabs the part and slams the door on her way outThen sometime later she calls back, I was on the phone with a customer so [redacted] puts her on hold, couple of minutes goes by he picks up the phone and tells her I'm still with a customer, she starts cussing him and wont let him talk, he was trying to tell her to bring the part back and let him look at it, but she wouldn't shut up long enough to let him speak so he hung up on her, she called back and started in on him again so he hung up again this happened or times, then a different guy calls and talks to [redacted] civilly unlike her, and that guy and her come back down here with the part and he is saying you can't heat aluminum up that it warps it, that's just wrong we do it all the time, anyway we offered to fix it and make them happy, but they wanted there money back so we gave them $back and the leftSent on: 4/12/11:40:AM
