I had to turn off the boiler completely as the "leaking" turned into a flat out "running of water" and...

had to put a bigger container to keep the water in.  It actually overflowed into the boiler room and wet/ruined sheet rock and wood that was also n the room.  After that the boiler was turned off completely.  It has been extremely cold the last couple of days and we have been suffering from the cold since we cant turn the boiler on.

Review: On January **, 2014 I had Hudson River Plumbing come out to my house because my boiler wasn't working. It was dripping water and wasn't heating up the house. I was told I needed to have an Aquastat, boiler feed, pressure relief valve, and a new auto vent damper harness installed. I paid 921.00 that day and was told that everything would be working correctly and there wouldn't be anymore leaking. Several days later it happened again and we had to put a bucket to collect the dripping water that kept dripping. I wasn't very happy at all and decided to call Hudson River Plumbing. The owner came out and told me that the pressure relieve valve he had installed was defective and he would fix it "free of charge" (I had already paid him) Well as he did that he also changed one of my zone boxes He said he would do it for free. I took him almost two hours and when he was done he told me he had to charge me at least for labor since he had spent so much time. I gave him another 200.00 Its still not fixed and leaking again. I called another company and had to pay 85.00 for them to see whats wrong. They said I need expansion tank. Called 1st plumber and he said he would come and do it for free. He was supposed to come out 3/**in the pm and I have yet to hear from him. My boiler is leaking and 2nd boiler company said it could ruin my boiler if its not fixed. I cant afford to be spending money for services that weren't needed or for incomplete work. I am going to be spending money on water bill because of the leak also.Desired Settlement: I would like to have either all the money I paid refunded since all the items he fixed weren't what needed to be fixed. If not at least be paid for the 2nd plumbers estimate and also let them put in the expansion tank with Hudson Valley Plumbing paying for the cost. I was willing to let Hudson Plumbing come and fix the problem but now that he failed to show up or even call to say he wasn't coming, I want nothing to do with them.
