Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: no one at the business EVER suggested that I get a wheel alignment the day I purchased the tires and I have a witness to that factI never told the establishment that I didn't have enough money for an alignmWhen I returned to ask them why the tires were worn down to the treds in less than days that is the first time they mentioned a wheel alignment to me and specifically said we don't suggest services the customers have to ask for itI asked them as the professional of record they should have suggested it it that's when they told me I probably need shocks and to have a mechanic to look at the shocksThis company has been less than honest and they continue to operate as such as evidenced by their response Regards, [redacted] ***

from usWe try and give our customers an incentive in purchasing tires from our companyThe total bill was $that included the two "NEW" tires ($170.00) and the tax ($11.90). In regards to the tires being defective is not correctWe advised our customers purchasing "NEW" tires that the vehicle which they are purchasing tires for should have a wheel alignment doneThe wheel alignment would ensure the longevity of the "NEW" tires being purchase, We advised *** *** that she should have a wheel alignment upon purchasing the "NEW" tiresShe responded that she did not have enough money to have a wheel alignment done. We can not be responsible for the driving habits of our customersAlso the driving terrain in which they would take their vehicleOnce the customer purchases the tires it is their responsibility to maintain and ensure the tires are wearing correctly. The vehicle struts are not the only automotive part that would affect the tire's wear pattern. When I returned to ask them why the tires were worn down to the treds in less than 90 days that is the first time they mentioned a wheel alignment to me and specifically said we don't suggest services the customers have to ask for it. I asked them as the professional of record they should have suggested it it that's when they told me I probably need shocks and to have a mechanic to look at the shocks. This company has been less than honest and they continue to operate as such as evidenced by their response.

Review: I purchased what was supposed to be brand new all weather tires from Hudson Tire on September 19, 2014 to replace bad tires that were on the front of my car. On December 1, 2014 someone brought to my attention that I needed new tires on the front of my car, when I looked the tire on the drivers side was completely bald and was worn down to the fibers. I wen to Hudson tire on December 17, to discuss with them thinking they made have made a mistake or given me a defective tire. However, in speaking with them they said only that I should have gotten a wheel alignment when the tires were put on. I suggested that no one told me that a wheel alignment was needed at the time and they were the professional of record. Then the representative told me that the tires were worn so quickly because I needed struts and suggested I see a mechanic. I asked them would they replace the tire because it has not even been 90 days since I purchased the tires and they told me NO! When I left the tire shop I took the car to a certified mechanic to check to see if I needed struts just to be certain and after checking the mechanic said my struts were fine but then pointed out that both of the front tires which were purchased from Hudson Tire were bald. Again, both tires were purchased on September 19, 2014, I was told the tires were brand new and that they were all weather tires. I have pictures of both tires showing that you can see the fibers if needed.Desired Settlement: At this point after going to Hudson Tire and they would not even consider replacing the defective merchandise and the nature of the complaint I do not trust them to replace the tires with Brand New Tires. There is no way that a brand new tire would last less than 90 days. I do not trust this business to offer proper customer service so I would like a full cash refund so that I can purchase new tires immediately. The tires are in such horrible condition that it presents a serious safety hazard for me and my children to even drive on them.

In regards to the complainant, [redacted], we did sell her two "NEW" tires size 245/45R18 tire brand [redacted]. We also had her "NEW" tires electronically balanced. The new tires were sold to her for $85.00 each. The electronic balance was done at no charge since she purchased the "NEW" tires from us. We try and give our customers an incentive in purchasing tires from our company. The total bill was $181.90 that included the two "NEW" tires ($170.00) and the tax ($11.90).
