Review: Company stated that a deposit was necessary for a loan. I gave the deposit and no loan.Desired Settlement: Refund of deposits.

Review: I was emailed by Hudson Trust Financial Services on June 27, 2014 stating that I was approved for a loan for $5,000.00. The man who emailed me was Gary M[redacted], who was my loan consultant. I would call him on his extension 307 to be able to speak to him. I was told I had to pay a 5 month deposit up front because of my credit history, which is bad. I paid $852.65, with $75.00 including in that total to receive my loan faster. The last time I talked to Gary M[redacted] was Friday July 12, 2014 when he told me I was receiving my funds directly in my bank account that same day. I have been calling everyday, and emailing since then, with no response.Desired Settlement: I would either like my refund or my loan.

Review: I am requesting my refund check in the amount of $554.00 plus [redacted] fees be refunded to me immediately. This company has not replied to any of my emails or voice messages since July 17th.

I signed an agreement with the above company to secure an unsecured loan of $5,000. I returned the signed agreement and ID documents on July 1, 2014. The agreement stated, "if I sent them $553.00 an insurance policy would be taken out to cover a default on the loan. I was told to purchase a [redacted] card whereas, I added $553.00 to a [redacted] card. I purchased two cards and added $500.00 to one card and added $54 to the other card on July 11th. I called Derek H[redacted] on July 11th and provided him the code off of the [redacted] card. I have sent at least a dozen of emails to Derek H[redacted] and left voice messages since July 14th. I received one email reply from Derek H[redacted] on July 15th and July 17th regarding my refund. The email stated:

I received this email on July 17th:

I would like to apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I was out

of the office yesterday. We have processed your refund which you should

receive by Monday July 21.

Yes, I would like to cancel my loan and please refund the money back. How will my money be refunded back? Who is to say if I submit the additional funds there will not be another security issue.

I received this email on July 15th:

Prior to releasing the funds this morning a secondary round of security checks has been done by your lender and additional information was found in your credit profile that warranted a stop payment. Based on this information, your lender requests that you upgrade your security to Full Coverage

Insurance. We apologize for the delay. If you would like continue with the financing you will need to purchase a new [redacted] voucher in the amount of $413.71 and contact the loan release department with your payment details.

If you would like to cancel your loan request a refund will be issued for the Standard Premium you have already paid for in addition to your [redacted] fees.

This email is to confirm that we have received and approved your documentation. Your Hudson Trust Financial Services Loan Policy is now setup and is awaiting activation.
