The business has responded Please see below:
In the complainant's prior statement with regards to the relief valve, she never mentioned anything related to the relief valve being left ajar until this latest statementSounds contradictory to meIn regard to the $damage, I see that no new carpeting has been replaced, baseboard trim, moldings, etchave also still not been changedIn regards to AHS not giving her a choice of contractors, this is not trueThe other contractor in her area has her on his DO NOT SERVICE listThe homeowner refuses to do any preventative maintenance to her equipmentAHS only covers hard problems such as pumps, motors, component failureThe manufacturer of her equipment requires annual servicing which has not been performed in years and I will express that concern to her home insurance company USAAThank you

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The contractor's statement makes no sense and is completely irrelevantThe contractor caused substantial water damage to my basementAttached is documentation showing the damage and costs and identifying that the relief valve was left ajar on the day that Hudson Valley Air came to service the boilerThe contractor refers to a "prior statement" of mineWhat prior statement? The invoice from Neighborhood Plumbing speaks for itself
The receipts show the damageWater damage mitigation was doneTherefore carpeting did not need to be replacedThe fact that unnecessary mitigation was not done is completely irrelevantThe contractor fails to comment on the damage and costs of remediation that were doneThe contractor's statement that there is another contractor in the area who has me on a "do not service" list is completely fabricated and irrelevantThe home appliance insurance company that the contractor works for does not require annual maintenance for coverage of appliance repairsThe fact that I don't have my boiler serviced annually is completely irrelevant to the damage that the contractor causedThe contractor completely fails to discuss the damage that he caused pointing to a number of completely irrelevant mattersThis is a contractor who asks to be paid by personal checks without his business name and does not leave invoicesOther people should be made aware of the experience that I had with this contractor

All repairs were performed through her home warranty company in a fashionable timeframe. The boiler relief valve is behind the...

boiler. I was working on the front of the boiler while changing the burner motor. The relief valve blew off days after I made repairs which was due to high boiler pressure which was caused from a defective expansion tank, which I changed and the old was left on site. The boiler has hydronic problems due to calcium and iron enriched water. The customer has a water softener on site and is negligent in adding salt as needed. I have purchased salt for this customer and added salt to the water softener numerous times. The boiler shows complete lack of maintenance and a good possibility of a puff back or a potential fire hazard exists. No claim was filed with her home owners insurance for supposed water damage because I was in her home after her complaint to the Revdex.com.

[Your Answer Here]
The American Home Shield contractor provides a completely fabricated account of what happened and the documentation that I provided establishes that.
The contractor states that “relief valve blew off days after I made repairs”.
The documentation obtained on February ** from Neighborhood Plumbing, the independent contractor that I hired after the AHS contractor stated that there was no possibility that the leak from the boiler had anything to do with the repairs to the boiler that he made 5 hours earlier, stated that the relief valve was left ajar on that day. The relief valve never “blew off.”
The contractor then states that “No claim was filed with her home owners insurance for supposed water damage because I was in her home after her complaint to the Revdex.com.”
Attached is documentation showing the full extent and total cost of the water damage from servepro who attempted to remediate the damage and also documentation of the loss and loss date of 2/** from USAA, my home insurance company.
AHS has breached its contract by failing to repair the heater/boiler in an appropriate time. It took almost a month and multiple visits to make the repair and finally I had to inform AHS that the motor needed to be replaced because AHS's contractor had not done so. The contractor that AHS sent out negligently caused more than $2000 of water damage in my basement and AHS claims that they are not responsible in any way for the negligence of their contractors despite the fact that AHS customers have no choice in which contractor comes to their house under the AHS insurance plan.
