Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Reviews (14)

On August **, 2016, I leased a vehicle with Hudson Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Newburgh, New York My leasing experience was satisfactory, but the care I received afterwards was totally disappointing At the time of leasing with the HVCDJR, I was also in possession of a leased vehicle that needed to be returned to a Nissan dealership mile from HVCDJRI was told that the Nissan would be returned on August ** I took the sales manager at his word Note, my Nissan was in excellent condition with no excessive scratches, dents, etc I made a follow up phone call to HVCDJR at the end of September inquiring about my permanent registration, which I had not received at that point, and also to ensure that my Nissan had been returned to the Nissan dealership I was told that it had On October **, I received a phone call from Nissan financing company indicating that my last payment was late and I had accrued $in charges I then made more than several phone calls to Nissan and HVCDJR to find out if the Nissan had been returned I was told that they are 'looking for it.' In fact, the vehicle was returned to Nissan on October **, months after HVCDJR told me they would return it So, not only did HVCDJR NOT return my car when they said that they would, but they also left my vehicle, which I am still financially responsible for, vulnerable to damage that could have been inflicted while still parked in their lotI would be charged for that damage by NissanI went to HVCDJR on October **, and spoke with the owner, MrC., who did not take my concern seriously at all In fact, he didn't care at all, stating that HVCDJR does its own damage report on vehicles left on their property, (which I asked for and did not receive); he admitted that he doesn't know the status of any of the vehicles on his lot in a similar return situation; he indicated that his dealership has no policy or procedure for such situationsHe acted insulted that I was so upset by this situation that could cost me more money than if my car had been returned in an appropriate time frame He told me that I was not financially responsible for the Nissan as soon as I had left it in his possession I don't understand how? I have not paid for the Nissan lease in final, as I am awaiting for that from Nissan As far as I'm concerned, I am still responsible MrC has indicated that he will reimburse me the $late fee, which I will await All in all, I feel that all this dealership wants is to sell cars, and after they have their money, there is no true follow up or concern for their customers He never once apologized for this and tried to make me feel as if I didn't have a valid concern I informed him that I will not be bringing my Jeep there for service and will go elsewhere

I purchased a new Jeep GC from HVCDJR in March 2016, that the package deal with oil and filter change, tire and wheel warranty ect as a fair warning to others who fall for this scam, They will do anything to squeeze more money out of your walletthe oil and filter change packet dose not include air filter, but they will change the filter and you will pay out of your nose for a filter that would cost $at auto zoneMake sure you tell them not to do anything that's not covered by the packet without approvalNow the service department is another story efficiency is not part of their vocabulary, I had a flat tire, not only did they not have the tire in stock, they FORGOT to order it the same day! And they forgot to submit paperwork to the company who holds the tire/wheel warrantyso after hrs, constant calling to try to plan my day around their incompetence, they finally admitted to not even have started the processFinally the next day I receive a call saying the tire will be in that same day, and I could stop bye and have it mounted on my vehicleWhat they didn't tell me was that it was going to take 1hr to get it doneso if you ever plan on using their service department, make sure you have a cpl days to wait for the incompetent staff to do their jobs right!

Completely lacking customer service skills and ethicsWhen my year old leased vehicle shut off while driving on the highway after being "fixed" the day before instead of being honest and giving me reasonable options to get my family into a safe vehicle they tried to swindle me into a new lease and finally told me to file Lemon Law paperworkIt's been a horrendous ongoing issue both the owner and general manager have zero respect or care for their customersIf it could get negative stars that would be an accurate rating
