New City NY Squadron Blvd., Hudson Valley radiology It's very unprofessional they don't give crazy cause the day before your appointment and when you call the day of your appointment you get a answering machine saying closed call back another busiest day there's no help whatsoever after waiting two weeks to get Ultra Sound to confirm my pregnancy this place is absolutely the worst!

Review: On January *, 2015 my daughter needed an MRI . This company company told me over the phone that I would have to pre pay the entire amt of the cost of the MRI before it was done since my insurance did not cover it. I paid by credit card $353.88 and then my daughter was seen by the radiologist. Since then I have been receiving bills monthly for $115.44. On 1/**/15 I called them and spoke with [redacted] in billing. She said she would correct this. On 2/**/15 I called their billing dept and spoke to [redacted]. She said my original bill was discounted by 20% and there should not be a balance. She said it would take 5-7 days in the system to correct. Today I received another bill. I called again and spoke to [redacted] who said that an investigation was started back on 2/**. She put me on hold for quite a while and then we were disconnected. I then called the office directly and they put me through to billing which had a recording to leave a message. I have tried to solve this several times but to no avail. I am extremely frustrated and don't know who else to call. I,appreciate any assistance form you.Desired Settlement: Stop sending me an invoice for $115.44

I have dealt with Hudson valley radiology before. They are running a scam on the billing end! I have insurance and I am fully covered. I had mri's there before for many years and than one day I had an X-ray done in the ER across the street at Vassar Hospital in which HVR were assigned to read my X-ray ... They billed me separately for the radiologist and I am fully covered for the ER visit at Vassar and had no problem and should have been fully covered for the radiologist who read the X-ray during my ER visit. Well, I was harrassed through phone and mail for a bill that should have been paid for and I made numerous attempts to resolve the issue on the phone because they claim the reason for not bling my insurance is because they do not have my info. I gave them my info on six different occasions and they still continued to bill me an harass me. I also insisted that I am a past customer for many years and I am in their system and they have billed my insurance before... After over a year of nonsense with billing telling me they still do not have my info even after other bills of theirs were paid and the ER visit was paid they sent a lawyer after me who later froze my bank account. This was clearly extortion. The amount they extorted was far more than what the insurance would have paid. When I called the lawyer out on this he hung up in my face. He clearly was in on this scam. I hope they are caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I saved my documentation from these scam artists.
