Yes I know the dent was there when buying the care. However before I signed any papers I asked numerous times to have them removed, but as I was told i'm buying a USED car. Even though its a CPO... So I guess there isn't any difference between used and CPO??? Well let me say this, I may have signed the papers because I didn't want to waste any more of my time and get home late. So that being said I do have a recording before I signed my papers stating and asking for the dealer to remove the dents! Going forward, in your CPO warranty it states "During the Volvo Certified Comprehensive Inspection, no detail escapes our factory trainedtechnicians, whether it’s mechanical or cosmetic. Review: I RECENTLY BOUGHT A USED 2012 VOLVO S60 WITH 27,000 MILES BACK ON JUNE **, 2015. SINCE THEN I'VE HAD NURMEROUS ISSUES WITH MY CAR. LUCKILY, THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BY THE LOCAL DEALER IN MY AREA. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS STILL ONE ONGOING PROBLEM. MY CAR SHAKES, SHIMMY'S, VIBRATES AND DRIFTS BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT WHEN DRIVING. I WAS TOLD IT NEEDED A BALANCE, ALIGNMENT AND NEW TIRES. SINCE I WAS TOLD THIS BY MY LOCAL DEALER AND THEY'VE SAID THIS BEFORE WITH ALL 6 VISITS AND THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO RESOLVE MY ISSUE. I WENT OUT AND GOT A SECOND OPINION WITH GOOD YEAR ON WOLF ROAD ALBANY NY. THE SALES REP SCOTT INFORMED ME THAT MY TIRES WERE NOT WEARING UNEVENLY AND NOT LOW ON TREAD, THEY WERE PRACTICALLY BRAND NEW. SO SINCE THAT VISIT I DID SEE THE DEALER AGAIN FOR ANOTHER ISSUE, THE CAR HAD A VERY LOUD SOUND IN THE ENGINE. THEY REPLACED AN A/C HOSE WHICH WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. WHEN I GOT MY CAR BACK I WAS STILL UNHAPPY THAT THEY GAVE ME THE SAME RESPONSE ABOUT THE ISSUES WITH HOW IT DROVE. SO I THEN BROUGHT MY CAR TO FIRE STONE IN LATHAM NY OFF ROUTE 9. WITH IN 20 MINUTES OF MY VISIT I WAS TOLD THAT MY RIMS WERE VERY BEND AND DAMAGED ON THE INSIDE, THEY BROUGHT ME TO MY CAR AND SHOWED ME. I KNOW THAT THEY DON'T INFORM CLIENTS VERY WELL BECAUSE THE SERVICE APPOINTMENT MANAGER EVEN STATED IT, SHE ALSO STATED THAT THEY COULD TAKE THE DAMAGE OUT WITH A HAMMER BUT IT WOULD COST ME 150 TO 175 PER RIM. I TOLD HER I DON'T HAVE THAT TYPE OF MONEY. SHE ALSO INFORMED ME THAT THEY SEE THIS ALL THE TIME SINCE WE LIVE IN UPSTATE NY AND FIRE STONE WILL TRY TO SELL PEOPLE ANYTHING JUST TO GET THERE MONEY. WE ALSO HAD AN EXCHANGE OF WORDS, MORE OF HIM THEN I. I MUST SAY TO BE A MANAGER IT'S VERY INAPPROPRIATE TO TALK TO CLIENTS THE WAY THAT HE DID. I MUST ALSO SAY THAT THERE IS NO WAY, NO WAY! I DID THIS TO THOSE RIMS, I WAS INFORMED BY 3 MECHANICS THAT I WOULD OF HAD TO HIT A MAJOR POT HOLE FOR THAT DAMAGE TO BE DONE. I KNOW FOR A 99.9% FACT THAT I HAVE NOT HIT ONE. Review: I bought a USED CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED 2012 VOLVO S60 with 26,0063 miles. for $18, 995 from the company. I had to drive 2 hours to pick it up. I did a lot of research on the vehicle, looked for local deals and where the better buy would be. I test drove a "like" vehicle at the local dealership and felt it drove very nice. I know that even though it's the same car it may not drive as well. Going forward, I arrived to the dealer downstate on June ** where I test drove the car before I did any paper work. When driving, I didn't feel any issues at all. Thus said, when I pulled back in to the lot and got out I noticed a dent on the rear passenger tire well, and the fender on the same side was sticking out. Well again before I signed any papers, I asked 4 times to have them fix it with each time they stated they would not because I am buying a used car. Well, I let that go and continued with my purchase. Continuing with that day, I made my way home and parked my car after a very long day. So about a week after I noticed the car was shaking, vibrating, shimming, and grinding in the front end and back end. I had a feeling it was obvious the brakes. So I contacted the dealer I bought the car from and informed them of the issues I was hearing. They informed me to take it to the local dealer and have them check it out. So I brought it to the local dealer and they found that both the front brakes and rear brakes were rusted, warped, pitted and needed to be replaced. So they covered it under warranty. (Justin @ [redacted] Volvo asked me why they didn't notice the brakes needed replacement before I bough the car. Well when I informed Hudson Valley Volvo and spoke to the service manager he stated things like that may have been missed and or they don't appear during the inspection. Also he added in his rude voice that I should complain and it was covered and there was nothing he could do. (According to Maureen at Volvo Customer service today @ 3:35 she stated that the brakes are not covered under the 7yr/100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, only the calipers were. Now from my understanding a brake includes all 3 PARTS!!!! CORRECT me if I am WRONG, but I am 99.9 % positive a brake is NOT only a caliper but it is ALSO the pads, and rotors. ) So if what was in parenthesis is true then would they make me pay the repairs??? I am so unhappy and frustrated that I am dealing with a bunch of careless and [redacted] people. TO WRAP UP MY STORY BECAUSE TYPING MORE AND MORE IS ANNOYING. I'VE LOOKED OVER THE WARRANTY OF THE 7YR/100,000 MILES IT STATED IN THERE WHEN YOUR BUYING A VOLVO CPO CAR YOU'LL HAVE THE SAME CONFIDENCE AND PRIDE AS YOU WOULD BUYING A BRAND NEW CAR, WITH OUT THE PRICE TAG. SO IF THEY STAND BY THE WARRANTY KNOWING I WAS TOLD BY MAUREEN THE BRAKES ARE NOT COVERED ONLY ONE PART IS EVEN THOUGH JUSTIN STATED THEY ARE COVERED AND THAT THE COSMETIC DAMAGE IS NOT SINCE ITS USED THEN WHY WOULD THEY IGNORE WHAT IT IN THE WARRANTY AND DENY ME OF THIS. He then noticed a shaking noise a week later. This was fixed under warranty with no cost to the consumer. He has a factory warranty until 2016 then an extended warranty until 2019. The dealership sold the car to the consumer in good faith. The consumer knew the dents were in the car. He received a great price and did not have to pay out of pocket for any expenses.Thank you.

Yes I know the dent was there when buying the care. However before I signed any papers I asked numerous times to have them removed, but as I was told i'm buying a USED car. Even though its a CPO... So I guess there isn't any difference between used and CPO??? Well let me say this, I may have signed the papers because I didn't want to waste any more of my time and get home late. So that being said I do have a recording before I signed my papers stating and asking for the dealer to remove the dents! Going forward, in your CPO warranty it states "During the Volvo Certified Comprehensive Inspection, no detail escapes our factory trainedtechnicians, whether it’s mechanical or cosmetic. I WILL KEEP REJECTING. I SHOULDN'T OF SIGNED THE PAPERS UNTIL THEY TOOK THIS DENT OUT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A CAR FROM THEM UNLESS ITS NEW. BUT EVEN THEN I'M SURE THEY WONT INSPECT IT FULLY. I HAVE PROOF SHOWING THAT THEY DID NOT INSPECT THE CAR LIKE THEY ARE TRAINED TO DO!!!! AGAIN, I WANT THIS DENT REMOVED!!
