The facility is very professional. They will give you a quote of your service, but that payment is due before any service is completed. THEN, without telling you of additional services that need to be done, they do all the work and then send you a bill for the remaining service that was not quoted. For example, my service was quoted as "it will cost $1089.80 after your insurance pays their share." I told them to bill my credit card. They did. Then I followed the hygienest back to the room. They performed 1/2 of the work and then I had to wait 10 days to get my specially made crown. This was all perfect, as they had explained that to me in the beginning. Then, I came back and had the crowns seated. My work was all done and perfect. Three months later, I get a bill that says the insurance company covered their share and the remaining balance is $682.00. I called the office and said that there must be some mistake. Karen said that the "quote" they give me when I arrive is just an estimate and that they don't know what they will need to do until they get inside my mouth. That doesn't make sense since they take many xrays and they know exactly what needs to be performed before I even get in the chair. Then Karen tells me that the insurance company covered exactly what my policy said they would cover. That is correct. So I asked her "so then you're telling me that you quoted me almost $700 shy of what it was supposed to be quoted?" and she said that it was just an estimate and that the $682.00 was my responsibility. I told her to charge my credit card for it and that I will never be back! I can understand $50.00 over or short on an "estimate", but $700. short?? And I wasn't told at any time that anything they did for me was going to be extra on top of what they quoted me? That is very unethical! I do not recommend this dentist office!
