Review: I have a 1999 Honda Accord which I took to get washed yesterday at Huffman's Car Wash. After entering the office area, I was told by a lady who worked there that since I wanted the rims to look better, I could request that someone there use a cleaner and power wash them. So I agreed to pay the addition cost and she let it be known in time while the washing was taking place for the rims to be cleaned. After leaving the car wash, I noticed that the "H" in the center of each rim was BROWN in color. They were NOT that color when I drove in to get the car washed. Since I take pride in my car looking nice, I went to the Honda dealership here in Danville and ordered 4 new rim centers. Today when someone from Honda put the new rim centers on, he said that too strong a cleaner with strong acid had been used to clean the rims where I had the car washed. No matter the age of my car, it was the strong acid in the cleaner that ruined the rim centers. I was also told that the rims themselves were not as shiny as they had been, but I can live with that.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a cash settlement of $32.73 to reimburse my cost of 4 new Honda rim caps. I have the receipt from the Honda dealership.
