Because Hughes is responsible for the maintenance of the exterior (drywall and out) of the building, they should be liable for the damage caused to the drywall by
their severe lack of maintenance on the roofThe roof had holes (we were not given the report of whether or not this was fixed, but are assuming this was resolved) and they do not seem to conduct any inspections of the roof at least annually
We also do not agree to their statement that we would not allow them access to the unit, as we were always available to allow them in when needed, and even took days off of work in order to do soThe only time we were unable to allow them access was during the days of October 16th through the 21stThe issue should have been resolved by this time, and it is clear that Hughes was negligent in scheduling anything in a timely mannerThis is exemplified by the fact that Hughes took two weeks to send *** *** (the mold inspector) to our home, and then did not complete remediation until over three weeks after that date
As stated before, this should have only taken approximately three weeks to complete (as we were told by our insurance company) opposed to the nine that it did

I work with several management companies and find that Hughes Management & Consulting is one of the most organized companies out there When there is a problem, they are right on it to correct it If I make a request that is not within jurisdiction to ask, they advise me of that fact, too In order for a complex to run smoothly there are rules which need to be followed, and Hughes does an excellent job of following through to insure these rules are followed for the betterment of the entire complex and all the people who reside there
