we checked with all of our stations that provide propane. We will ensure that the following sign is posted at all of the stations "Propane bottles are charged a flat rate Not by Weight". This flat rate is broken down per size of propane tank that is brought by the customer.
Unfortunately, the above-mentioned station was the only one that did not have the sign posted and for that we apologize and have addressed the issue by putting a new sign up. We have also resolved the issue with Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] and apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused. At Hughes we continue to strive to achieve our goal of fueling the needs of the community to the highest standards.
