I have been trying to get my leak in my Rock Wall fixed since 2015. The Rock Wall was built in 2014. It's 2018 and I still can't get Hughes back out.
The first email I can find dates back to 27 Jul 2015. In that email I sent pictures (I still have the pictures) showing where it is leaking, and explaining my frustrations about Hughes not coming out to fix the wall. Then again in Feb 2016 I sent pictures to Roger showing where it is leaking (has algae growing on it in the pics), and yet it still isn't fixed. They keep telling me no way it can be leaking. I can't find my emails from 2017, but I have a picture in 2017 showing where it still is not fixed. Guess what? It's 2018, and it still isn't fixed! I started back in Feb of this year re-sending Roger the emails, and pics showing where it is leaking. They tell me it shouldn't be leaking, and they would have the rock guy call me. He never calls me. So, I call Hughes and get his number. He tells me the same thing "They usually don't leak." I sent him pics showing it, and said he would get out there. It is now Jun and he still isn't out there. When Hughes came and put in a new sand filter, the guy even said "yep looks like it is leaking." Oh yea, and the same Rock Guy is the one that fixed my first complaint with the Revdex.com (Steps where built wrong), and at the time I told him it was leaking, and he said it's not leaking. It is the spray off the water fall. Which is not true, since it is leaking in the front and back. Not to mention, you should see the pics from when he came out and fixed one of the slabs on top that had came loose. It was a totally different color concrete! I have been more than patient, but I am beyond that now. There is no way it should take this long to get someone out and take a look. The pictures clearly show their is a leak! When you have black mold now in a few spots...there is a leak! I had another company put a slide in, and guess what he said?
"yes sir, that is leaking." This is twice I have had to file a complaint with this company. I have pictures and emails to show we have been addressing this for 3 yrs now!!!!!!! Unacceptable.

Desired Outcome

I want Hughes to come out, and take the top off and find the leak. They also need to clean all the mold out from inside, and on my pools edge.

Will not communicate with work they guaranteed to correct. Will not stand behind their workers or word.
Had pool installed and had to have spray decking applied to concrete due to bad concrete work. The guy that did the spray decking said he would come back to repair scratches after liner is installed. He never did. The stain started fading and the spray texture started pealing up after 6 months. Called and spoke to Hughes and kept being told I'm on a list that they will get it repaired. I have been calling yearly for past four years and I have always been told same thing. They have no intentions of fixing the problem they recommended and promised to fix. They do not have the respect to call and inform you of the status of your complaint or to even just be honest and say 'I'm not fixing it".
Two weeks ago the associates got a very bad attitude and I decided to just pay someone dependable to repair the problem. But I will inform anyone of my experience with Hughes Pools. It was a very bad experience and will never make that mistake again. They will tell you they will always be there for you if you need but that's not true.

Desired Outcome

The job done correctly that was paid for in full when the pool was installed. Stand behind their work and workers to be satisfactory. Come to customers house and see the issues they are complaining about and make them feel you stand behind them. FIX THE PROBLEM YOU DONE.

We have tried repeatedly to schedule an appointment with the customer. Due to his work schedule, he cancelled his appointment numerous times. We were more than willing to reseal the deck as requested. The customer only complained during our busiest months so working around his schedule was virtuously impossible. We asked the customer to leave gate open on several occasions. But was told he had to be present to allow us access. Had the customer been more cooperative we would have completed this very simple fix several years ago. We made several appointments weeks in advance only to have them cancelled at the last minute. The last appointment cancelled was June of 2017. Resealing the concrete is also weather sensitive so scheduling in advance is problematic. We feel like we attempted every reasonable effort to resolve this minor issue. We had little to no cooperation from the customer.

Canceling the appointment several times is untrue. I originally called Hughes if the problem and never got a solution. I started calling the guy directly and he always told me he would get back in touch, I started then dealing directly with Hughes just to be told the same thing that the guy was out of work due to injury. Finally I was told he no longer worked for them due to his bad quality if work and customer complaints. They told me they had another guy in training. This guy called once and asked details which I gave, and said he would be in area in couple weeks. I asked him to give a call when he seen he would be out and I would make,arrangements to be home and never heard back. About a year later Hughes I firmed me that he had medical issues,and was behind. I suggested due to cold weater getting close and hjs medical to
wait till spring. I never heard back toll this year when I started calling again. Hughes dud set up a appointment for a Thursday which I said great. That Thursday morning Hughes called and canceled and I haven't heard anything else. So therefore one appointment was actually made and they canceled. I always agreed for them to give me a couple days notice and I would make a point to be available. It's is,wearers sensitive to cold that us why I wanted it done during spring or summer. If it's a,simple fix why has it been so long. All communicate has been from me to them except maybe 4 calls and phone records can prove. The June 2017 appointment was canceled by tbem.

Had a pool installed 5 years ago by Hughes pools. The concrete work looked so bad I had to do additional expense and have a spray decking applied. The guy who did the spray decking was recommended by Hughes pools was paid through Hughes pools. When installing the liner It caused scratches which they were suppose to re-stain. I called regular to request the re staining and was always pit off for some reason or another. One year later the stain is not been repaired and now the spray decking is flaking. I have been calling yearly since and either I get no response or either told I'm on a list which you never hear back on. Just how long is the list. The pool is 5 years old and looks 20. Hughes will not communicate with you in getting any satisfaction after you pay them the total. Very unhappy with customer service and quality of work . Photos to show

Brand-new pool and the pool deck is coming up.
I had a new pool installed in November 2016. I noticed the cool pad around the pool coming up and there are bald soots around the pool deck. I contacted *** at Hughes pools and at first he missed an appointment we had scheduled. I contacted Hughes Pools in a text message with pictures included the next day I got a phone call back with apologies. The next day I had a man named *** and his crew, person who does the pool decks for Hughes, come out and look at the pool deck and he said yes there is an issue. And he would get back with me within two weeks to set up a time to fix it. That was in April 2017. I have called Hughes pools since that time and have left several Messages for *** all of them went unreturned. I have also spoke to the office manager and she was supposedly going to call *** and remind him. Nothing has ever been done and its already the first part of June and still no attempt by Hughes pools has been made to fix my pool deck on a pool that is less than seven months old

Desired Outcome

I want the pool deck resurfaced and repainted to fix where he's pulling up all around the pool. In addition the cool deck that is also extended to the patio needs to be also fixed and painted. So that everything matches

We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication on our part. Heavy rains for the last two weeks have put us way behind schedule. The subcontractor for Hughes pools had been contacted. We were under the understanding that he had taken care of the problem. We have discussed the issue with him and an appointment has been set for Friday June 30th weather permitting, to resolve this issue. We regret any inconvenience this has caused our customer.

30 June appointment had to be reschedule due to bad weather, this is the second postponement. Rescheduled for 7 July. Once work is completed to my satisfaction I will then close this complaint. Request you leave complaint open until work has been completed.
