What I was told that the company has changed names since our transaction*** and Son did all their business through the Bpwling Green distributor which was *** *** and the phone number linked to this companyThey know that Rheem manufacture will not talk to the customer and wants to deal with the distributorWhen we talked to them they did have the information about us buying it but tried to say that it was a heat pack not a heat pumpMy question is did *** and Son deal with this company and I think they did because they are the only distributor in Bowling GreenWhen we try to call Rheem we don"t get an answerYou would think by us having the paperwork stating it's a heat pump and a year warranty that it wouldn't be anything out of their pocket to contact Rheem about the issueOur heating and cooling technician has called them and they seem to put him off and I also called them and they argued it wasn't under warrantyIt looks like we have bought something that we're stuck withI was just asking for help to see if Rheem would stand behind their product but our first technician had an issue with this company and that's why their not wanting to helpI had spoke to him and he agreesI would think if the company had changed names that they would still be responsible and liable for previous transactions I guess I'm wrong. Thanks for taking time to speak with me today in reference to the above complaint.  I understand Mr. [redacted] concerns with his unit.  Hughes Supply always stands behind our units and contractors that we serve.  However, after tracing the model and serial number information provided it...

is clear that Hughes Supply did not sell this unit to the contractor in question.  My advice would be to contact Rheem Manufacturing in order to reach the correct distributor.  Thanks.   [redacted]HUGHES SUPPLY
