First and foremost, the person filing this complaint let his niece (***) borrow the money to pay for the repairs, but the owner of the vehicle which is the person who can and cannot authorize repairs is the owner of the car*** niece
brought her vehicle in for repairs, I let her know she needed a tune up done to the vehicle before it would pass smog (this was written on the work order)His niece said she wouldn't be able to get the tune up done to the vehicle because she did not have the funds for itShe said she would come back when she had the funds to complete that job on her vehicleHer uncle called me and asked me if the vehicle was ready to pass smog, I told him the exact same thingThe vehicle needed a tune up and then it would passWe have a signed copy (from his niece) of the work order that states what repairs she came in for and that the vehicle needed a tune up for the car to pass smogIf the uncle is involved in any way it is because he lent her the money to pay for the original repairs she came in forSo to ask for an adjustment in price in unjustHis niece gave us orders on what to fix, which is what she was charged for, and we let her know what else she needed and she didn't come backWe cannot complete repairs on a vehicle for which we have not received authorization from the OWNERAs for the claim that we tried to charge his account twice, that is and we also have proof of the ONE transaction that was charged to that accountSo in conclusion, we never heard back from the niece for the repairs that needed to be done, that she was notified about and signed a work order stating soWe have no business or relation with the person making the complaint other than he authorized his niece to use his credit card to pay for the repairsSo if NORMA would like to get those repairs done, we would be more than happy to do them at the price it will cost her, which she is well aware of since she picked up the vehicle

Hugo Garcia did not make the repairs on a vehicle taken into his shop. He charged 2,300 dollars on work that was not done on the vehicle. He lied about the work he was doing on the vehicle and the vehicle does not run. He took advantage of my elderly mother and did not provide receipts for the cash that was paid to him. He is dishonest and fraudulent in his practices and should have his business license taken away.Desired SettlementI would like a full refund and punitive damages for the dishonest and fraudulent ways in which he conducts business.

On October 6th 2014 I had vehicle towed into Garcia auto repair after weeks of the repair shop stating that they were fixing vehicle it was NOT fixed whatsoever and the auto shop was paid. I drove one mile to the car breaking down and went back to the shop where Hugo said he would take care of problem and never did giving me back a broken car. I am out the money of parts that were not needed as well as towing bills and labor that was not performed I also had to rent a rental car due to the fact that I did not have my vechicle back on dates he said it would be done nor did the car ever get fixed under his care. I want all my money back for repairs not done and I also want my money back for the parts that he did not need. He also failed to give me any parts that he supposibly fixed that were bad after I had requested all parts be saved. Also [redacted] said he put a new battery in my car because he had killed the original I had brought in with the vehicle and that was another lie I had to buy another new battery for vehicle for his neglegence that I want to also be reinbursed for. I have reciepts and bills for everything if needed thank you.Product_Or_Service: 10/06/2014Desired SettlementI want money back for parts and labor. I had to order two computers @ 159.99 that he said I needed but ended up that wasnt the problem. He charged me 250.00 in labor that was not peformed and I aslo was billed 73.96 to get new battery that he stated he had already changed and put in car. I would like to be reinembursed for everything and if he refuses I will be filing in a court of law. Thank you.

On January 9th, 2016 Hugo Garcia Auto Repairs charged my [redacted] for the amount of $1,449.97 to fix my niece's van Dodge truck. Before I paid him I asked him if this van ready to pass the smog check and he said "yes, all your niece needs to do is to run the van about 70 miles and after that it will ready to pass the smog check". My niece called me on January 19th and she said that the [redacted] office told her that there some parts that need to be repair before this van can pass the smog check. I called Hugo and he said that my niece never really told him that she needed this van to pass the smog check. Also, [redacted] canceled my [redacted], right after I used it to pay this bill.
