address this issue. Before responding to this specific complaint, we feel it is important to recognize for over 20 years [redacted]’s Auto Body & Paint has been in business and has always considered our customers our most valued asset. As they pertain to the [redacted] complaint please consider the following salient points:
Ms. [redacted], came to [redacted]’s leveraging an existing business relationship through a related family member at LM Auto Sales. A long established customer of ours. The Job started as a paint job and quickly started to creep into more and more unrelated work. Work being done as part of an accident settlement she received. - We offered her an exceptional value and performed the initial paint and body work and substantial
additional work (including windshield repair and other parts) for her at little to no additional charge. Please see the attached invoice (which she refuses to come and pick up) - She claims her gas was low, implying we drove her truck, her battery was dead, and her alignment was off. Her truck was moved and driven as needed to get it to all of the car detailing provider who worked on it at his shop, very near our own. As for her battery and alignment issues, [redacted]’s cannot speak to them as we handled the body and paint issues only, and see no validity to these claims. - When she returned with her truck demanding additional work as well as compensation for, gas battery and alignment. [redacted]’s offered to address the visible deep body scratches, which she immediately tried to turn into more work. She and her boyfriend/husband began to threaten public complaints. She was asked to sign the receipt as an agreement that this would complete our business. She refused and said she would sue [redacted]s. I explained that I would not complete the work without that signature, and acknowledgment, but did not encourage a complaint or lawsuit. Things continued to escalate and I in fact did asked them to leave. - Understanding that our customer was dissatisfied, we responded to her email through Facebook, offering to work this through her dispute using a third party mediation service. We received no response just continued threats and complaints.
[redacted]’s continues to value our customers and will stands by our offer to touch up the deep body scratches on door and back left truck bed panel, where substantially old bondo has cracked and reaffix headliner issue, for Ms [redacted]. She continues to try to damage our company (as her compensation, or exacting a pound of flesh) rather than take us up on our offer to remedy her issues. Review: On or about March 11,2015 I seek out services to have my truck painted and we discussed price and other labor that needed to be done. Of course when it came to my windshield issued he called we agreed and at that point I thought everything was ready to go. On March 21 not 20th I went to the shop to balance my balance and looked at my truck inside the shop. We talked a little more and I stated that I had not received my receipts for parts and labor and his words to me where "let me get the together and then I will call you". Well my truck kinda didn't want to start but it kicked over and I notice my gas was on empty when I know there was a half of tank so we waived and on my way to put gas and that's when I noticed that my bed of the truck hadn't been painted my skuff marks were still visible, the liner inside my truck not be re installed and torn, my battery had to be replaced, my front license plate was missing and I called him immediately and of course it went straight to voice mail. Calls went to voice mail for 10 days plus. I typed and mail him a letter indicating the problems and receipts issues and he stated bring by the shop around the 13th of April. As of April 13, 2015 according to Mr. [redacted] "he doesn't give a st sue me you don't have receipts" I left crying and I had by [redacted] go back to help me out and he put me on speaker and requested that if he didn't get off his property he would call the police. Our agreement was that he was going to give me a 5000.00 job for 2600.00 and that I would have to purchase the parts and that I would get them at his price since my vehicle had minor dents.Desired Settlement: As of today Mr. [redacted] has stated sue him "he does care and wished me good luck" I have already found where he has purchased my parts and waiting for them in the mail, he stated Specialty Glass replace my windshield and they stated they dont that kind of work, so know I will need to research that information and Mr. [redacted] stated to [redacted] he doesn't have to fix it only if he signs agrrement that he does the rework but with no agreement the outcome. I want my money back.
