I would like to add to Mr[redacted]s comments. Yes unit a 13 seer Goodman compressor was installed in January 2013. By June 2013 my new unit began to make a very loud squealing noise and MasterMechanical was called out to fix the problem. Turns out unit was over charged with freon 410, they removed the excess freon and they told me that it would be better to use the standard fiber glass filters instead of the pleated to avoid stressing the new unit(which sounded ridiculous to me at the time). My unit finally blew the compressor in June 2015 and again I called MASTER MECH, to repair the unit since it was still under warrany. After about a week they finally came out, two different techs they were brothers, one of which was not licenced to work south freon but since the license of the two was out on an emergency the unlicensed person installed the new compressor and recharged the unit with freon but seem to be unsure of the correct pressure quantity. His brother finally arrived an hr and a 1/2 later to help him but since it was already dark and late they wrapped it up and called it a day. Two days later I had to call them back out since my ac was no longer cooling again. So I called them back out so the next tech came out and recharged the unit and told me that the previous technicians failed to check the Schrader valves that were leaking so he left. And once again not even a week later the compressor begins to make the same loud squealing noise again and I called [redacted] and spoke to him directly and told him that I did not want anybody else coming to service the unit but rather would have him come out and do the work himself, he said he would but the Saturday he was suppose to come by he sent out one of the first technicians that was out the second time my unit was 1st making that loud squealing noise, turns out the unit was overcharged with freon again.
Customer failure after customer failure and all do to improper service and installation [redacted], I fail to believe that it was a defective compressor unit. If your technicians were properly charging these unit and if they were properly trained and licenced I would not have an ac that is no longer cooling again and here we are not even 5 month later. The good thing is that its winter now and this will not be an issue until spring. Thanks [redacted] nice job!
