Review: The company took a fee to write a contract for an oil gas lease and after multiple billings in excess of $900.00 did not produce a contract for review. When I realized I was being fleeced for padded billing with no results I demanded the contract be sent to me or a refund sent. I received neither.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund as initial payment stipulates contract on my check and no contract was produced.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me because the firm decided an addendum was preferable to a refund which was the choices offered. Although I would have preferred a refund, this is satisfactory as it was the alternative offer. Both options were offered in print prior to contacting you stating clearly that you, the ethics board, and attorney general would be contacted if neither of the two offers were dispersed in a timely fashion. My request did not receive a response. This was the active choice of the firm. Debating semantics regarding signed lease versus addendum is not appropriate as the firm was given the option and opportunity to forward a refund or clarify/dispute request prior to my contacting the aforementioned listed agencies, also invalidating the post complaint threats. Thank you for your assistance, at this time I withdraw my complaint as requested as part of the settlement.
