Examples given: roof leaking for over a year, top windows sliding down not staying shut letting in wasps and snow, the toilet leaking into the 1st floor apartment for over a year, the basement flooding up to three feet for years everytime there is a hard rain, water not draining for up to ten hours from the bathtubs, to name just a few problems.
