After reviewing the statement from home owner as far as the burnham boiler the home warranty company issued said this was a pre existing problemAfter the pictures that they have seenThis was not a decision made my Hull's HVAC, nor an employee from Hull's HVAC as far as the leak from the gasket it was explained to home owner that it was the bolts that hold the gasket in that we were worried about because of the rust and oxidation around themFor that reason is why we did not recommend trying to un bolt this gasket as also was explained to home owner the only reason the price was given was because the home owner had asked for itThe explaining of the hanger being bent over and over was to explain to the home owner the bolts that hold the gasket in place as an example of the heater heating up then cooling downWe tried to loosen a bolt and did not feel at that time that the bolt should be loosened or tighten anymore because it would of cracked or brake as explained to homeowner as well as home warranty companythe following pictures can show as documentation of rust and oxidation that was at the boiler at the time, and to show why we did not want to put any amount of torque onto these bolts

Good Morning [redacted] , I do not how much more information I can provide we did everything we could to accommodate [redacted] we even installed a condensate pump for no charge to fix a problem we at Hull's never caused [redacted] conveniently put this claim in with the Revdex.com the day after we did that free install and has had no problems since we have not heard from him Thank You! Upon arriving to [redacted] 's property, the so called secondary problem he is referencing had already existed as explained to me by the property ownerAfter inspection of the coil we at Hull's HVAC found his evap coil was 100% impacted due to a complete lack of maintenanceat that time a new evap coil was recommendedAfter several days the property owner called us back to complete the installation had begun the property owner was instructed to have the combo washer/dryer removed so we would have room to work in the utility roomAfter the female tenant had moved the washer and dryer (because the owner did not show to appointment) the coil was installed and the PVC lines were retro fitted to the existing condensate linesTwo weeks later, the property owner informed us that the system was not cooling Hull's HVAC responded with in hours with the repair at that time we found that the water heater was leaking because of improper installation After the property owner had the hot water heater was repaired (by another company), we were called out again because of a leak of waterOnce again we responded with in hoursAnd found that the PVC that we retro-fitted was tampered with and was flowing in an upward positionWe informed the property owner of this and recommended that we install a pump and the cost is normally $for the complete system but we would do this completely complimentaryThis was performed on September 9,the day before he made this complaintAs for us months of waiting, the first call out, to the property it was on July 3, the install was not scheduled until July 29, This customer is trying to have everyone else pay for his utter lack of maintenance which caused the bathroom and any other type of damageThe pump that was installed complimentary was an option that was offered at the time of installation but declined because he wanted to keep his costs down

I am rejecting this response because:This account and explanation the business owner has provided is inaccurate. To clarify the chain of events, the first diagnosis of the main leak was limited only to a recommendation of coil replacementIf my only goal was to keep cost down, why would I choose an expensive $coil replacement if a pump solution for $was offered to us at the timeIt was not We were told by Hulls this is the ONLY solution to our leak Which is turns out was not the case. Not more than 24H after the coils were replaced the AC stopped pumping cold air Hulls came out and acknowledged that freon was incorrectly sealed causing all of it to leak out Hulls added some freon, sealed it and leftI paid $just weeks prior to this to have freon added to my system Another waste of money contributed to HullsPlease keep in mind, the main leak we originally called about continued. Then hours later the AC stopped pumping cold air for the third time Hulls was called in and immediately after this visit my water heater which is directly next to the HVAC mysteriously began to leak This brand new water heater was installed by SEARS two years ago with zero issues prior to Hulls visit Jason did tell us only minutes prior to this appointment that the washer/dryer would need to be moved and they were just going to cancel on us He did not require us to move the washer/dryer during installation of the coilsThis left us with zero option but to have our tenant move itThe fact that she is female is irrelevantWe begged him to come back as it was over degrees and the tenant has a small infant at homeHe created a dangerous situation. No more than minutes after their departure from my unit the 3rd time, did a secondary leak begin from the hot water heaterThis was no small leak as documented in the pictures above We were then told by Hulls to call a plumber as he was blaming this leak on a faulty pipe to the hot water heaterWhy would the hot water heater erupt all of a sudden had it not been for their sloppy work In fact, the attached photos highlight that his technician had pushed the HVAC right up against the hot water heater and knocked it all out of placeHe also ripped the dryer return from the floorSee photos. At this time we continued to pursue solutions with a plumber as Hulls told us they were no longer responsible for the leaksAfter we took this as far as possible with a plumber and he confirmed that the leak was in fact originally due to a condensation line from the HVAC that could have been fixed with a pumpOnly after our home warranty communicated this information to HULLS did they show up and try to sell us the $pump that should have been the original solution The coil replacement never stopped the leak and their negligence caused additional damage through subsequent visits to try to fix what was improperly done from the first place. Attached is an email we sent Hulls outlining our complaint and his response was that he will do nothing in this matter. We are requesting a refund for the cost of the coils and the amount he charged us for labor - we can provide credit card charges to show paymentWe are willing to pay for the cost of the pump and labor for that installationWe will gladly return the coils to Hulls that he installed.
Regards,

I am rejecting this response because:
Unfortunately I do not see Hulls answered ANY of my concerns in the last response I have multiple witnesses who can testify to my account of the events along with a HVAC company that came out to audit his work Please find the image attached of Hulls terrible welding work that caused damage to my heater Multiple people who live in *** ** *** can testify to the damage caused by Hulls workJason personally said he did not do the original job right an and that is why he had to come out multiple times after replacing the coils I do not see a response from Hulls on this specific matter.I am more than happy to personally return the coils and pump to Hulls office if it helps settle the dispute
