All work is complete that I am responsible for. Thank you
Revdex.comResponse to *** *** The exterior wood jamb and wood door at the trash enclosure has not been maintained properly by the ownerThis is not a warranty item, it is a maintenance issue The front door was already replaced one with a brand new door in October of Why did the owner wait well over a year to ask to have this fixed again? In previous communications, I offered to split the cost of adjusting the front doorI will contact him and go see the doorI am pretty sure that the year warranty the owner is referring to applies to structural systems only. Are you aware of the performance standards of the state of California?

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. In regards to the exterior wood jamb and wood door, the previous handyman specifically told me that he is not fixing this properly and it will fail again. the contractor did not want to spend the money to fix it the first time so the problem resumes. using an excuses that I fixed this once and the person is not maintain (how does one maintain a door?) is not a valid excuse. he needs to honor the contract and fix it. the reason this door jamb is falling apart is because of all the recent rain. the contractor replaced the door a year ago. however, the door is not the issue. it's how the door sits inside the door frame that is the issue. the door sits crooked. I have asked him numerous times to fix it, and he kept telling me to talk to his doorman. I later found out the same door man doesn't like doing business with the contractor so I have been wasting my time trying to get in touch with someone that doesn't want to work for the contractor.

Based on California law, there's a 10yr warranty for a new home. My home was built in 2013, so I am within the warranty time. I have asked [redacted] to fix these items, and he has fixed them once, but they are still in bad condition. the handy man who fixed the exterior door told me that his fix...
will only last a year. with all the rain, the door is falling off the hinge. the front door does not sit inside the door frame when you close it. it touches on the bottom but not the top. the door has to be locked before it's completely shut.
