I am rejecting this response because I have little trust that Humana will do as they have indicated since supervisor took no action when I contacted them in December I will reserve judgement until I receive notification from SSA that the premium deduction has been stopped and refund has been issued

Dear Ms. [redacted]:   Thank you for the opportunity to investigate the facts surrounding the above named member's concerns.  After thorough research, we have made the following determination:   Ms. [redacted] states that her premium for her prescription drug plan is being deducted from...

her Social Security Check (SSA) as well as her checking account. She states that he contacted Humana and spoke to a supervisor who advised her that he would correct the error but it has not been corrected.   Humana’s Billing Department has reviewed all available information in this case.  A request has been sent to stop Ms. [redacted]’s premiums from being deducted from her SSA check.  This should become effective for the February 1, 2017 bill period. That is when ACH will start drafting as well. If SSA is unable to stop the deductions in time SSA will deduct only and there will not be an ACH deduction.   Please also be advised that a refund has been requested in the amount of $17.00 for premium being paid by both Ms. [redacted] and SSA. Refund request has been granted.   Humana values Ms. [redacted]’s membership and would like to offer our sincere apology for any delay or inconvenience she may have experienced.  Humana would like to thank her for taking the time to bring her concerns to our attention.   If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-#### or at the above mailing address.
