I purchased a used oven from them. The day after was install I found out it was defective. I have called multiple times, I can't get them to responde.On Friday, 8/19/14 I went to the store to look at a used oven. [redacted] assured me that it was in working order. On Friday, 9/5/14 at 4:50 pm [redacted] came and installed the oven. After installation, he showed me that the oven would come on. I did not actually need use it at the time, so I did not continue to let the oven run, as I didn't want to heat up the house. I paid a total of $300 cash for the oven and installation.That Saturday, 9/6/14 when I tried to use the oven, it would come on, but as soon as it got to temperture, it would cut off. The inside light, clock display everything would cut off. Once the oven would cool, it would come back on. My son called them on Monday, 9/8/14 to let them know of what was wrong. They came back on Tuesday 9/9/14, and said it was a bad ground wire connection and said it was fixed. They asked my son to run the cleaning cycle on the oven to verify it was fixed. Then they left. It did the same thing, so when my son called them back, they told do a couple of things while he was on the phone, but nothing helped. He then he said he would be out that afternoon between 2 and 2:30 to check it again. He did not come or call. On Wednesday, 9/10/14 my son called them back to see when they would be able to come back out. They asked him to run the cleaning cycle again and check to see if the breaker was hot, then it would be an electrial problem not an oven problem. The breaker was not hot when the oven shut off. He then said that he would be by to look at it again, but couldn't give me a time or date. My son and I both work, so we really need to schedule this in advance, to allow for someone to be home, he basically said he couldn't schedule it in advance. On Wednesday, 9/17/14 my son called again to check on the status. We felt that a week was sufficient time to have come to check it out. The female that answered the phone took his number and said that someone would call him. We have yet to hear back from anyone.My son did the calling to the company because he usually works evening/night shift, so he was available to make the calls during the day while I was at work. He didn't get the names of the people that he spoke with on the phone calls.I know that there is no guarantee when you buy a used item, but I was told that the oven was in good working order prior to purchase. I would not have purchased if it hasn't said it was in good working order. I have not been able to bake one thing in it because it keeps cutting off. They keep saying they are going to come and look at it, but don't show up. When we do call to check, we don't get called back. At this point I don't believe anything that they say and would just like for them to pick up the oven and refund my money. I will purchase a toaster oven to get though until I can save up enough money to purchase a new oven.Desired SettlementI have been told multiple time that they will be out to look at the oven. They don't show up. They don't return our telephone calls. I would like for them to pick up the oven and give me a refund since I have never been able to use the oven.
