Back on the 28th of [redacted] I called them to see if they could try to figure out why my mower would not start. They said they could but were booked a week to a week and half out. SO I dropped it off on the 29th again being told it would be about a week and a half. I also told them to go ahead and sharpen the blades as well. After that time I had my wife check and they said they have not had a chance to work on it yet. So I call at the 2 week time and talk to someone different and was told they have been booked 3-4 weeks out since early April(which I was not aware of until the 2 week mark). So I gave them another week(3 weeks now) and they did call and told me that the mower needed a starter and cellenoidwhich would run about $100 for parts and $25 labor. So I told them to go ahead with that. I ask how much longer and he told me a day or two. After another 2 weeks(5weeks now) I got a voicemail on my cell that it was done(July 1st). So the next day I call to see how much it was and I was told $376+. I was told they found a lot more thing wrong with it and went on to fix it without confronting me about it. So there was another $250 charge without my consent.Desired SettlementI have not paid Hume Equip. anything yet because I feel I don't owe them anymore than the $125 plus cost of blade sharpening. Because that is what we had talk about agreed on. It is not my fault they took it upon themselves to do more work without consulting me about it.
