Again, I'm sorry that we find ourselves even having this conversationAs our schedule allows for multiple appointments per day, it is common practice for our crews to either return to our office and swap out a full truck for an empty one, or for them to go to the dump(or other appropriate disposal facility) after leaving a job and before going on to the next jobThe legal verbiage that was signed to is not our defense, it is merely another point of informationI personally spoke to both individuals who performed this job and Mr*** *** vehemently told me that he was walking around trying to stomp down limbs, and that while doing so his feet were above the top of the truckBoth individuals informed me separately that the cargo net would barely close, and the net actually rises more than a foot above the top of the truck when it is closed

I am rejecting this response because:
First of all when Humpback verbally communicated the subject of a "Full" load the price range stated was $ If the full load range was $then they should have said $and not $ If they made a mistake then I accept their apology
Regarding the crew statements....I personally cut one branch myself and left the chain saw for them to use IF they needed it but plainly said, "do not use the saw if you are not supposed to use it" Before I left the premises I walked the site and discussed whether they could finish the job and remove all the branches Their response was yes they thought they could I also specifically told them to leave any branches that were too large And actually they did not leave three branches they left many branches And the truck was not full! I actually over heard a phone call the crew received that they had another oclock appointment they needed to go to So how could they have a full truck if they were going to another appointment Also, when I paid the bill I was never directed to read any disclaimer or agreement or acceptance clause I simply trusted the people with the job and needed to go to work
I am a fair man and dont mind paying for a job well done but when a business sites the "legal" verbiage on a receipt as a defense for services rendered and agreed upon it makes me wonder about the character and integrity of the individual and business But I guess that is what attorney's do
I will not use this "business" again and will not recommend Humpback to my friends and family
Regards,

While I regret that we find ourselves in any scenario where a client has felt like they received a less than adequate, I think that Humpback Junk fully fulfilled the contracted services.
When a client schedules a pickup through our webpage, they receive an email confirming their appointment,...

which begins with:
"Dear (Name),
Here are you estimate appointment details for junk removal."
The important aspect I'd like to point out is "estimate appointment," as we price our service by volume removed and as such it is very difficult to give any accurate estimate based on anything other than an on-site visit. Therefore, whenever our team speaks to a client or potential client on the phone, any discussion of price is in the nature of a ballpark just to help our clients have an idea of what to plan for.
Further, a price point of $400.00 does not correspond to any service that we offer. All of our sales staff know by memory that a full truck is $455.00 plus tax.
Having discussed this job with the crew that performed the service, they confirmed some of the details of what Mr. [redacted]e described but also elaborated on some. They informed me that, upon arrival, they quoted Mr. [redacted]e $455.00 plus tax for a full truck before beginning any work. They also informed me that Mr. [redacted]e seemed to expect them to use a chainsaw he provided to cut up some very large limbs, which they informed him they could not do. Mr. [redacted]e then paid for the full truck, by check, and left the property. The crew loaded the truck completely full, but left the 3 large limbs because a) they were too big to load without being cut up and b) the truck was completely full anyway. The crew informed me that they crushed and stomped and broke the limbs to the extent that they could but that the truck was fully loaded at the time that they left.
I have attached a copy of the invoice for Mr. [redacted]e's service to this response. Please note in the terms "I hereby authorize the above work, and I agree to make payments specified and acknowledge the work has been satisfactorily completed." Mr. [redacted]e is claiming that we did not complete the job that was agreed to, however he left the premises and denied himself the ability to confirm that the truck was full. Our staff maintains that Mr. [redacted]e was informed of the price for a full truck before the job began, was informed that the crew would not be able to use his chainsaw to dismantle the 3 large limbs, and that the truck was absolutely full at the time they left Mr. [redacted]e's property. It is because of these points that I feel that Humpback Junk Removal has fully satisfied the obligation of the arrangements made for 8-26-14.
That being said, if Mr. [redacted]e still needs the 3 large limbs that we did not remove handled, assuming he is able to have the limbs cut up or dismantled in such a way as they can be loaded, I am willing to offer Mr. [redacted]e half-off the removal of said limbs, based on whatever volume they would occupy.
Thanks,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:WhenI called Humpback to complain about the job, the person who answered the phone indicated they would look into the matter.  I never received any followup call back which is why I utilized Revdex.com.
I am a consumer willing to pay hard earned money for a task that I could do myself because I simply dont have the time.  And from this date forward I will not call Humpback for any further "services" and I will blog my experience on the various online sources.  I find it sad that we consumers have to "baby sit" individuals called out to do a job just to be sure we dont get taken.
Make no further communication regarding this matter as I will not respond.  And my lack of future responses is no indication that I accept nor dismiss this complaint.
Not a repeat customer.
