Hunny Do's was requested to build a studio for Ms*** boyfriend during my completion of a nieghbors deck I met with customer to discuss designAfter compiling material and labor cost and buildind details, made agreement with customer.Customer ordered materials and arranged Hunny Dos
to pick up cement blocks for piers to build building platform My helper and I had completed leveling the outside piers, left for lunch and returneod trailer rentalUpon our return, the customer became irrate stating that the piers would not work, that the ground was too softNeeded a foundation and requested that I take my helper back, stated wasnt in the agreementI told customer the labor cost included my helperMy workmans comp wont cover non employeesI took my helper home. Upon my return, the customer had taken it upon himself to dig hole to place rocks in ground where piers were placed thus compromising the area to place piers for leveling and support of structure. I received a check from Ms*** for $dollars and informed her of the ground being compromised for buildingThe following week rained evey day which gave me time to contact a structural engineer who advised me not to continue with the building The costomer had contacted me the day after bad weatherI informed her that I would not be responsible for building a copromised structure and told her I would have to return some of her money when my accountant returned from vacation in a couple daysShe demanded a full refund or would do more than take me to small claims courtI feel I deserve compensation for my time and efforts I refuse to put my name on substanard workI have no remorse towards the customerOnly trying to be fair

I am rejecting this response because: *** called me on 11/to cancelll for work on 11/was taking off for Veterans day.Called on 11/to say was having trouble with his truckCouldn't, come to work that day..Both days weather was good.I called him on 11/13, he didn,t answer his phone or return my call
