Upon move in, you paid rent in the amount of $910.00 for March, 2015 and were given a credit of $32.50 for February 28, 2015 rent. A bed bug heat treatment (at no cost to you) was performed on March 13th. According to the heat treatment instructions provided to you on March 12th, you were not required to dispose of any items in your apartment. On March 15th you came to the office and asked if you could move to another two bedroom (none were available at that time) or get out of your lease . Gray Roofing Inc put the roof on 8 years ago.  His labor warranty was only 5 years.  Material warranty 30years.  If his material is worn out, which I doubt, he needs to call them.

Review: I moved into these apartments in the first week of february 2015. I was 8 months pregnant, was due in April. I also have a 5 year old son. I paid 1000 dollars to move in including my first months rent. In every lease it states that they are promising you a healthy place to live. The first day that I moved in I saw tons of roaches everywhere. by the 3rd day there was bed bugs coming out of the vents, the tops of the closets, on my dining room table anywhere and everywhere they were infesting all of my unborn babies things as well as eating up my son. my son has scars from the bites he got all over him. I spent hundreds of dollars washing/drying everything I owned. I had to throw out a majority of my things including over 900 dollars worth of brand new furniture I bought before moving in. my bed, couches, headboards ect. they would not get rid of the bed bugs after multiple treatments. I had to wash/dry my things multiple times. I asked my neighbors about it they told me they also have bedbgus. the cielings in my bathroom was falling through. they would not move me. they finally let me out of my lease by the end of the month I had to find another home in a week. after all they didnt compensate for ANYTHING and even took my security deposit bc I left a day late. I called the manager to discuss the security deposit and she said that it was unfortunate and hung up on me.Desired Settlement: I would have liked to been moved to another apartment or some of my rent or my security deposit back. some type of compensation for all my new furniture that I had to throw away because of the apartment they put me and they could not get the bugs out of my stuff. I have receipts for everything. I need some type of compensation they should NOT be aloud to do this.

Review: Aug. 21,2013 upon signing a renewed lease, I mentioned to the management office that there may be a mold problem in my apartment. I was told that they would check it out. I went out of town on 8/22/13. Unbeknown to me, my apartment was inspected and mold was detected, they claim it was caused by an unauthorized portable AC unit. I never received written notice that the mold concern was checked. Sept. 27,2013, a new lease contract is left on my door. Sept.30,2013 I return the new lease(signed) to the office....told it's good to go. Management calls 10 minutes later; they need me to come back to speak with the [redacted]. I am informed at that time that according to their records I had been evicted & was to supposed to vacate by Sept 15,2013. I was given a copy of a certified mail receipt letter, however, they could not produce a copy of a signed receipt that I supposedly signed. I asked for proof of a signed receipt and was told that it was not available due to a changeover of personnel. When I asked why wasn't I contacted the day after my eviction date (9/15/13) for my keys and why was a new lease agreement left for me, I was once again told the mix up was due to a change of personnel and I will be given a new eviction date. Oct. 1,2013 I am given a new eviction date of Oct. 26,2013. When I vacate the apartment on Oct 26,2013, I am told by the office personnel lady that I am good to go as I turn in my keys. I asked again "I'm good?" and I am told "You're good to go". Dec.19,2013, I receive a debt collection notice for $760.84. This letter has the wrong address on it and states that two previous notices were sent (I never received them). I do not feel that I owe them after being told that I was 'good to go". Dec. 26,2013, I called the management office and left a message for the property [redacted] to call me to discuss this issue.....no one returned my call. Dec. 31, 2013 I called and actually spoke with someone, and was told the [redacted] was not in the office but my phone number was taken and I was told that she would return my call to discuss this matter. I received no return calls at all. Jan. 9,2014 ,I called the office and left a voice message for the [redacted]......my call was not returned. Jan. 14,2014 I went to the office (unannounced) to speak with the property [redacted]. When the [redacted] walks back to notify the [redacted] that I was there, I hear the [redacted] attempt to whisper "Oh yeah, he owes us some money, tell him I'm busy". I am told by the [redacted] that the [redacted] is busy with another issue and that I should come back tomorrow(1/15/14). I am told that I should call before coming. Jan. 15,2014 @ 1400hrs, I call the office...no one answers.....I leave a message to call me so that I can come discuss this issue.....no one returns my call.Desired Settlement: I have no eviction on my record. I feel my mold complaint is what prompted my being asked to vacate premises. The apartment above mine had flooding issues and an portable AC unit in it (above the room with mold issue). Portable AC units can be seen throughout the apartment complexes. Due to the lack of proof, incompetence, and unprofessional handling of my situation, I feel that this debt collection process is a trumped up charge. My desire is to have this debt removed from my records and have not further contact with Hunt Club apartments.

Review: I have been living in this apartment doing business with this company for 1 year now. For the most part all my issues have been resolved except for 2. The first issue has been ongoing since I've moved in.....I have had a problem with my front door, when I first moved in I was so called getting a replacement door which I never recieved...Many times maintenance has came to fix the lock but it's the actual door itself that needs to be replaced which I have previously told this company on numerous occasions. The door is warped and doesn't shut all the way....either the top half of the door is gaped open or the bottom half is gaped open if the top is closed. When your looking from the outside, it looks as if my door has been left slightly opened. Which causes more issues if the wind is blowing, the door just doesn't shut all the way. This has caused problems with the lock being loose and they have came over numerous times to fix the lock but after a few months it continues to go back and jam. Last request placed about a month ago, the maintenance staff came and bend the door and said "Oh well this is the best it's going to get" which I think is unacceptable. I've called and put in a request within the last week and have yet to get a response or anyone to come fix the door on which the lock is now jamming again. I'm requesting someone higher than the appartment manager to look into this issue about getting my door fixed because she has yet to help me.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement door. I now have a newborn child and this door is unsafe not looking closed all the way and all the issues I'm having with the lock that keeps jamming and they claim every time they're fixing it but all they're doing is tighting up 2 out of the 3 screws that the lock should have.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business and she stated that she has not actually spoken with the consumer personally but they are going to replace the door for the consumer today.

Review: Currently, the air conditioning unit in our building is broken. It has been broken for quite a few weeks now, on and off. They have contractors our here everyday putting a minor fix on. It will work for a day and then stop. It's continuously 80 degrees or higher. I have asthma and I also have animals that cannot be in this type of heat. I have sent complaints via email to the office and to the property management staff and nobody has contacted me. There are several families here with children and animals. This is not safe. The office will not return my phone calls, and when someone does answer, they say the contractors have been called. The AC is controlled by the office, the tenants only have a thermostat to turn it on or off in their individual unit. It is written in our lease that we may not have window units so it's constantly hot and sometimes unbearable.Desired Settlement: I would like to be contacted by the business in regards to a possible rent reduction. Also, I would like to terminate my lease without penalty due to the unsafe living conditions.
