Hunter Health Career Academy

I was attending Mrs. Hunter's CNA class and she moved during the holiday. Well I never got her new address and every time I call her it goes to voicemail. She NEVER responses back and the one time she did She texted me and when I called her she never answered. I know a few classmates who are going through the same thing with her and they paid for her MedTech class as well. She has a lot on her plate and not able to handle it all by herself. I feel as if though the class was taught by the students and even witnessed another student fuss with her for HER not teaching the skills needed to pass the test.Product_Or_Service: CNA ClassesDesired SettlementI would like a FULL refund. Going to another teacher would cost more money but you would be taught by a teacher who has time to teach the class. Business Response we try to do all we can to give the student whatthey need to go forward to get a job. we are onlya prep school. the student need to try harder to learn her skills like everybody else.being on time is very important.and putting more effort into theprogram.this student did not put any effort what soever into her learning. I wish her the best,maybeshe will put more effort into whatever she do next time.Consumer Response I'm guessing that she is not very sure of whow she is talking about since she had me in her class teaching and showing the lessons. I NEVER got any of the the new address to where she moved the school to since is was crying about having to pay extra for a moving truck. I never got any response to my text messages and I tried very hard to help Mrs. Hunter in all that she did. It was totally my fault for helping someone in need with her classes. I was always on time and even was getting her more business however that has since stopped. Classes would over lap and would be rushed so the students really didn't learn anything. UNless there was a studen there who was able to help in the process. Everything for this "school" is found on the websites and you must then go and challenge the board for the test. You can do this without this school and she teaches you the tests not the skills that you need to learn to worj with real people in the medical field. I hopw and wish that before companies and school start to invest in this "prep-school" they have some on go in to see just how their fundind is being spent. Not the best investment for grants that could go and help others really learn the medical trade. I would have paid more money to a school that has the students' best intrest at heart and wanting to empower the medical field with people who really care about helping others and not the check that goes with it. This is one thing that you will learn with this school is want other courses she wants you to take with her so that you can make more money. I did this for the love of the field and not for the money. She found it strange that I wasn't jumping up & down at making 30k a year when she was telling the class about becoming a medtech. She was really shocked when I told her I already made that at the current job I'm at. I wanted to this for my husband and Child so that I could care for them at home. Not for the money. This plcae need s total over haul on it and a better set-up for learning. I do wish all of Mrs. Hunter's students the best and also pray that if they do pass the test that they have great training at their new career.
