Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/19) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @millsproperties.net There is no mold and or mildew in this apartmentThey informed us of a leak in living room ceiling on June 8th Maintenance responded immediately, repaired the leak and then cut out the wet area allowing it to dryWhich is standard procedureThe leak was not happening long enough for there to be any chance for mold/mildew to developMaintenance left a note asking them to move their TV in order for him to make repairs, explaining that he would be back in daysMaintenance returned and the TV was not moved, keeping him from doing the workWe then scheduled a painter to come in and repair the hole on Thursday June 18th and both residents refused him entranceAs far as the storage closet, it is outside on the patio and does get moisture as it is not airtightGiven the fact of the humidity and the fact that it is a ground floor, moisture happensHowever, it does not pose a health hazard as it is outsideInsects are a part of life especially on a ground floor [redacted] comes out twice a month at no charge to our residents and we always spray as neededThey have lived here almost a year with only a few minor maintenance requests that have been addressedIt is my belief that they have found someplace else they would rather live and are not wanting to pay through the end of their lease which is ending July 31stI have no problem letting them leave early without penaltyThey have never askedHowever, refunding any rent already paid is out of the question as we have done everything correct and in a timely manner
