[redacted] *** [redacted] To Whom It May Concern: I am responding to a compliant I received via email on 02/07/filed by Mr [redacted] from [redacted] NJ My companyinstalled Mr [redacted] garage door openers on 12/26/ Mr [redacted] has called and asked for other related services to be looked at such as his weather stripping and [redacted] However, at that time to present I have had several employees out with serious injuries & surgeries that I have no control over As an owner when I have had to prioritize my work accordingly such as an emergency and rescue squad unable to get there vehicles out as opposed to the repair work that Mr [redacted] needed having an operational garage door Understanding the delay and frustrations of Mr [redacted] I offered to come down to Mr [redacted] residence and told him I would not charge a service call He then accepted (Note Mr [redacted] is approximately hour each way from my business) On this same day 2/7/my secretary received a phone call from Mr [redacted] in the morning stating not to come down that he received instructions from another door company over the phone and fixed and installed everything himself I have been in business for many years and as I apologized to Mr [redacted] I cannot control the unfortunate events of the health conditions with my employees Regards, [redacted]

Review: I purchased two garage door openers, with installation less than 1 year ago. I have been trying, for 4 months, to have Hunterdon-Warren come out to inspect my garage and so that I can purchase a [redacted] unit. In the past 30 days, all 4 of my garage door remotes have stopped working. I have called and made appointments approximately 10 times between October 2014 an February 2015, and in each of those times, Hunterdon-Warren did not show up, and did not call to alert me that they were not coming.

As 3 examples, on Friday, January 30, we had an appointment for Hunterdon-Warren to come out. They did not show. When I called, they said they'd decided to assist other customers instead (they said this explicitly). So, I took off work for no reason. They said they would come by in the morning of Saturday, January 31. But they didn't. When I called on Saturday, near noon, they said they decided to assist other customers (again, he said this explicitly). He mentioned that they get a higher number of support calls in the winter, so I reminded him that I've been calling since before winter started. So, he said they'd come on Sunday, February 1. They did not come and did not call, despite me waiting around for 3 straight days. These are just 3 of the examples since October 2014 where we've made appointments that were not honored by Hunterdon-Warren.

Before the initial sale and installation of the garage opener units last year, there service was swift. But, after the sale, I have not been able to get them to come back.Desired Settlement: To close this issue, I would like 1) my next appointment to be on a weekend morning (as I already wasted several days on previous appointments not honored by Hunterdon) with Hunterdon-Warrent to show up during the agreed-upon date and time range, 2) for them to fix or replace my garage door openers, 3) to check the seal around the garage door to ensure a tight seal, and 3) to install the garage opener [redacted]) unit at a competitive price (manufacturer MSRP or below).
