Review: I hired this company to replace my A/C unit in May of 2012. Took a week to unit installed. Unit would not cool for the first couple of days. It took several trips for him to come to back to my house and fix problem. Although the a/c finally was cooling, its obvious he installed the wrong size unit in my house, as the new unit is still pretty much running all day to try and keep up with the heat.2nd issue. In July 2013, only 14 months after installing a/c. Drain tube clogged up and flooded my living room floor. He tried to blame it on my sewage system. Had flooring replace at a cost of around$ 4,000, which my ins. coverd minus my $1,100 deductible. Then just 1 week ago, the A/C drain tube clogged again, and again over flowing drain pan and flooding my sons bedroom this time. This time at a cost of around $1,400 which I had to pay in full because if I had made another claim on my ins. my premium would have gone up $1,800 more a yr. He tried blaming it on my sewage again, but when I showed him the elbow in the drain tube that had clogged, he said I should have had the system cleaned out once a yr. I also had talked to a few other a/c techs in my area. They all said he should have installed an overflow sensor which will shut a/c off if water level gets to high before overflowing. I asked my a/c guy why he didn't install this after it flooded the first time. He said I didn't need one. So I insisted he install one this time. The other techs said he had to many elbows installed in the drain tube going back to my main sewage line, and that is why it backed up. I asked him if he would reimburse me for some of the money I had to pay for new flooring, he said no. It wasn't his fault,and it was mine for not having system flushed. Which shouldn't need to be on a brand new unit. My old unit was almost 20yrs. old and never backed up once !Desired Settlement: Would like to see Mr. [redacted] reimburse me for at least half, if not all the money for the flooring I had to replace
