I ordered two Russian TOZ-63 shotguns from Hunter's Lodge the first week of January 2019. It is now March 11th, 2019 and the shotguns have still not been shipped to my local firearms dealer. I have had multiple calls and E-Mails with Hunter's Lodge and am always promised that they will ship in the next few days. I have been told this for nearly eight weeks now.

Desired Outcome

Delivery I paid for the two TOZ-63 shotguns (Hunter's Lodge cashed my checks) and I want the two shotguns delivered as promised as soon as possible.

After 30 days waiting for my order I want to cancel my order and get a refund. I called today Feb/05/19 and they hung up the phone on me!!!!
Mailed a money order to Hunters Lodge in the amount of $124.45 with my order plus shipping for one TOZ-63 double barrel 16 gauge shotgun on Jan.2 2019.

Spent a couple of hours trying to reach them by phone on Jan 14 2019. I finally get somebody on the phone and asked for the status of my order. I was told I would receive my order Jan 17th or 18th.
It didn't arrive on either day. Again I finally got through to them on Jan 21. Again got the run around sad story about them being busy. But was told it would arrive on Jan 24 or 25. Also was told they didn't have a package tracking number.
I am still waiting for it my order.
I called them today FEB 5 to cancel my order and asked for a refund. The lady hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. Very rude. Now they do not even answer the phone.
Can you guys please help?
I've learned a valuable lesson. I will never again do any business with any place that will not accept credit cards. Yes I guess I was too trusting. I suppose the old adage is true: "There is a sucker born very minute"

Desired Outcome

At this point I no longer want my order. I want a complete refund for my order total plus the bank fee for the personal money order. Order total: $124.45 Bank fee: $5.00 Total refund due: $129.45

09/01/2018 I ordered 3 rifles, 1 shotgun for $1424.38.
10/01/2018 I ordered 3 rifles for $1429.76. As of 02/01/2019 I have received only 1 rifle.

I have contacted them multiple times by email, but I have not received any definitive date of shipment. I requested a refund from them 90 and 120 days on my orders. Customer service does not exist. It should not take this long to receive anything from anywhere. My money is tied up in a web of lies while they just sit back and do nothing. I am requesting no less than a refund minus the price of the rifle they did send to me.

Desired Outcome

Refund for the remainder of my 2 orders that I made the first of September and the first of October.

Took my money 5 months ago, and I still don't have my rifle.
On 8/16/2018, I inquired this place via e-mail about the inventory status of their 93 Steyr Manlicher Rifles. I have confirmed by e-mail, that the rifles were in stock. Before mailing a personal check totalling 369.33 (for the rifle, 'hand select', a sling, and shipping), I even called these people to reconfirm the rifle was in stock. Up until November 15th, I was contacting them over phone and e-mail, inquiring about the status of my rifle. I emailed them 10/19/2018, and 11/15/2018, and both times they assured me the rifle would be to me by the next week. I called them 3/4 times, and since the e-mail exchange of the 15th, their number no longer works for me, as if they blocked or are ignoring my calls. Everytime I did get through though, they had some other story about where my rifle was, and that it'd be shipping very soon. Needless to say, 5 months after they cashed my check on 8/23/2018, I still have no rifle, and I'm sure they spent my *** money.

Desired Outcome

Seeing all their inventory is junk or reproductions, I'd rather get my money back rather than 'store credit' or the original purchase. I don't want any excuses, I gave them plenty of time. I'd like a check, written in my name, of the original 369.33 amount.

Hunter's Lodge cashed my check for $580.38 over 3 months ago and did not ship anything to me or refunded my money. This fraud is their business model.
Hunter's Lodge Corp. is defrauding their customers by accepting payment and not providing the products they advertise in "The Firearms News" magazine. On 10/05/18, I ordered an antique "Hand Select condition P14 Enfield .303 caliber Rifle" for $580.38, including shipping. Hunter's Lodge cashed my personal check on 11 Oct. Thus far, I have not received the rifle, despite 6 email exchanges with their employees and 4 phone conversations with them. Each time I succeed in getting an employee to answer the phone they make excuses (examples include ... unexpected inventory that overwhelmed their staff, extra repairs required on the rifle I ordered, shipping department delays), and they promise that the item is about to ship to me. After 3 months, I now believe they are committing mail fraud by taking my money (personal check in the amount of $580.38 sent via U.S. postal service) and they have no intention of shipping the product to me as they advertised in a national level firearms magazine. Their business model does not involve the use of credit cards, so customers don't have the ability to get help from the credit card company. Hunter's Lodge only accepts personal checks. They are adept at cashing checks, but in my case they behaved in a dishonest and criminal manner.

Desired Outcome

I would like to receive the rifle (in good, "hand select" condition) as advertised in Firearms News Magazine, or refund my $580.38. I prefer to get the rifle.

To much to list. False advertising
First off operator lied on the quality of the firearm. Suggested an additional "hand pick" fee for optimal item. Check sent was cashed immediately but had to wait 3 months for delivery ! No emails or tracking numbers for updates. Item recieved was in terrible shape and was non firing...not as advertised... Then when they did return an email it was to say that 99% were all in the same condition. Junk. When parts to make the shotgun operational were requested there was no response. Operator refuses to connect with customer service only in email form which they do not respond.

Cashed my check 16 October never shipped order.
My check was cashed on 16 October and I was told my order would ship out later that week. Then after a couple weeks I was told they lost my FFL. Then after I sent another copy they said they had my order right there and it was shipping that day or the next. After that they stopped responding to emails. So, I started calling. Then they told me it shipped. Then after I repeatedly checked with the post office over the next few weeks, I called them back only to be told it had not shipped. By 10 December, they told me again it was right there but it would ship that day or the next... it has been over two months since they took my money and I have yet to receive my order.

Desired Outcome

I want my order fulfilled and a tracking number provided. I ordered a P14 Enfield Rifle, a 1903 Springfield bayonet, and an M1 Garand bayonet with 10" blade. As I was told the items were right there, waiting to ship out, multiple times, they should have no problem actually sending them.

It took a little while for delivery, but the pieces are beautiful! They look unused, after all these years! Very nice.

I paid for a product 2 months ago that has not shipped and the company continues to ignore me.
On 9/27/18 I mailed a personal check for $450.38 to Hunters Lodge Corporation for an antique 1910 Mexican Mauser long rifle. The check cleared my bank on 10/12/18. I did not receive the rifle. I emailed Hunters Lodge on 11/12/18 and received a reply from "***" that someone would contact me. Nobody contacted me so I called them on 11/14/18. An unidentified woman answered and said the rifle would be shipped the next day (11/15/18). To date, I have not received anything so I sent another email to Hunters Lodge on 11/26/18 asking for an update, with no reply received.

Desired Outcome

I want them to send what I paid for, which is a "model 1910 Mexican Mauser rifle in very good condition" as they advertised. And I'd like them to send it immediately with a tracking number so I know they actually sent it.

Business finally sent the purchase and it was satisfactory.

Order a M1 Starter Kit from them recently. There is a reason they do not accept credit cards-- too many chargebacks when you see what they advertised is not what they deliver. This is their ad "These fine tough battle rifles were returned from the U.S. Lend Lease Program in South America, various condition. The front office has decided to allow us to part some incomplete ones out to the shooting public who truly appreciate the finest battle rifle produced in the world.Each kit contains a U.S. issue 30-06 barrel dated in the 50s with shootable bores, a complete wood set with hand guards, less metal . Trigger guard assembly complete, original rifle sling and original cleaning kit w/tool.Tacked gas cylinder,bolt, original 2 M-1 garand 8 shot clips. All parts are used but serviceable with refinishing or tinkering." Barrel was corroded, stock was OK, the rest of the kit was missing pieces and what was there were unusable parts of a cut up drill rifle, stripped bolt with the face welded, trigger group welded, gas cylinder welded with part of a cut barrel still inside. Avoid. avoid. Avoid and do not send them money. My mistake and I will be warning people off. *** advertises for them and evidently won't do anything about it yet continues to run their deceptive ads.

Untrue...they changed the website after I complained...How could they have shipped a set if they were sold out? .they didn't modify the description at all...and instead of honoring their return policy as stated on their website...20 percent restocking fee plus no reimbursement of shipping....they offered in store credit only....plus the kit contained cut up drill rifle parts not disclosed and the kit was short the sling....they said they substituted two more clips in but they aren't present and they refuse to make up the shortage in goods or refund. They are clearly dishonest merchants with defective merchandise sold under false pretenses....I have pictures of the drill parts....welded and scrap. I made a mistake in dealing with them despite their reputation and will make it my business to warn any I can of their deceptive tactics. It's a loss to me but caveat emptor.

after speaking to *** on the phone (no last name given) to confirm it was in stock and shipping times related to.
it was for an 1893 Mauser rifle 7x57 caliber in shooting condition on 3/12/18, the payment cleared on 3/13/18.
I have inquired several times via email and phone and have been given a run around or been lied to as to my order.

I believe they are attempting to commit mail fraud by taking my money (via a personal check in the amount of 467.31 by U.S. postal service) and have no intention of shipping any product.

Desired Outcome

i would like my rifle (in good shoot-able condition, as advertised on their website.) or a total refund of my purchase. (I prefer delivery)

I ordered something on 11/28/17 and as off 3/4/18 have not received it and they are giving me the run around.
On 11/28/17 I sent a personal check in the amount of $251.50 for a U.S. P17 stock set, the check cleared the bank on 12/5/17. I called on 1/5/18 and was told it was processed and should be shipped the next week. I have called every two weeks since then and kept getting the same story. Then they told me the Postal Service lost it but could not provide me with a tracking number, now they say they are waiting on a refund from the Postal Service, but can't give me a claim number. They say they will ship it when they get their refund, but I think they have had more than enough time. I believe they took my money for something they advertise but don't actually have.

I just want the stock sent to me.

I received the stock 3 days after I sent you the complaint, so they got your message. I am glad I got it even after 5 months of waiting. I will not do business with this company again nor will I recommend them to anyone. Thank You.

I do not recommend that anyone do business with Hunters Lodge. I foolishly sent them over $500.00 for an antique rifle before Christmas 2017. By February 2018 they stopped answering my email inquiries about my rifle. In one reply that I did receive they assured me I'd be very pleased with my purchase. When they stopped answering my emails I began to demand shipment of my rifle. My demands went unanswered up until they shipped my rifle. The rifle I received was a hunk of junk! The wood was dry as the desert. I emailed them again to complain about the lack of quality of my rifle and they failed to answer. Do business with Hunters Lodge at your own peril!!!

Items not received,items misrepresented,postage overcharged, no response to Emails and unfulfilled promises of resolution in phone conversations!
On 11/6/17, I called Hunters Lodge Corp at XXX-XXX-XXXX to confirm that the 1903 Springfield Bayonet Scabbard they advertise in The Firearms News for $28 was old, authentic and original and not a reproduction like those advertised by *** in the same publication for $12. The man I spoke with assured me that the scabbards were indeed authentic originals that had been sent to Greece and Holland after WWII and were now imported back to the US. I also ordered two of the South Korean Fighting Knives offered in the same advertisement at $24.88 each and they advised me appropriate shipping would be $18 for all. On 11/7/17, I sent my check for $95.76 to pay for all of the above along with a detailed recap of what the check was to cover.On 11/25/17,I received a package from Hunters Lodge but only one S.Korean fighting knife was included (I had ordered two.) The 1903 Springfield scabbard was definitely a reproduction and not as represented as has been confirmed by a number of collectors and experts and the postage was only $11.30 not the $18 they charged. on 11/26/17 I called them to advise of the situation and they advised they would send the missing knife out right away. So far I have not received the missing knife. They admitted at this time that some of the 1903 Bayonet Scabbards were made in S.Korea.They told me if I was dissatisfied with the 1903 Bayonet Scabbard Scabbard, I would have to pay return postage and include a 20% restocking fee for them to accept the scabbard they misrepresented. I have sent numerous email messages to them via their website message system but they never respond. My phone calls seem to only result in unfulfilled promises that they will make this right. At this time I feel they owe me $47.58. That is $24.88 for the S.Korean knife that was never received. $16 for the overcharge on the misrepresented 1903 Springfield Scabbard I could have purchased from *** for $12 and $6.70 for the shipping overcharge.

I feel Hunters Lodge should refund $47.58 to me. That would be $24.88 for the knife that was never received,$16 for the reproduction 1903 Springfield Bayonet Scabbard that Hunters Lodge sells for $28 but I could have bought from *** for $12 had Hunters Lodge represented it honestly and, $6.70 for the overcharge of shipping charges. It would also be nice if in the future Hunters Lodge would honestly represent the items they advertise,particularly when a customer takes the time and expense to call and confirm an items authenticity.It would also be great if Hunters Lodge would respond to the messages forwarded to their message board on their website and follow through on their promises but based on my experience with them, I think these are likely cultural issues that will remain unresolved so I will be satisfied with a good refund check in the amount of $47.56.

This company sells cheap Chinese knockoffs as actual surplus. They will never refund any of your money. Complete scam artists. I know from experience.
I placed an order with these guys and have been in agony ever since. I can never get my money back and the merchandise is complete junk. They even sent me items I never ordered and tried to make me pay return shipping. I am so done with this company. Everything I ordered was cheap made in china stuff when it was advertised as authentic surplus. Shut these guys down.
