Huntersridge apartments[redacted] XXXXXThe workers from this apartment complex entered into my unit without giving me notice to fix doors. I was told two months ago they would be fixed but they never came. Some items in my unit were broken: dresser and stand. I went to the office and showed them pictures of these items but nothing has been done about it.Desired SettlementI would love for this problem to be resolved by my items being replaced. My name is [redacted] I live at [redacted] If needed I can be reached at this numberXXXXXXXXXXThanks.Business Response Ms. [redacted] is not being truthful, she's upset because she wants to break her lease and did not given a 30 days notice and was told she had to pay rent for the month of May. Her door was fixed and a small piece of wood off the back was fixed. They also put the dresser drawers back on the track. Everything was taken care of.

My apartment is completely unlivable. Refrigerator is not working, no light sockets are working, and the heat nor air is working. I just moved in. I signed my lease on 10/13 after being told they had an apartment ready and the only thing it needed was a refrigerator and stove. I did a walk through on the property but it had no lights on yet on the 13th as well. I had the lights cut on the next day and was advised a refrigerator and stove would be in there upon arrival. They were installed that day. On the 10/14th I noticed the refrigerator and freezer were not cooling or freezing. I also noticed that no sockets in the apartment were working. As the night approached and it got cold, I tried to turn on the heat and it was not working either nor the air. I contacted the office the following day first thing in the morning and advised them of these issues on the 16th. The leasing lady seemed very nice and understanding and assured me and [redacted] on separate calls who called in to check while I was at work that these issues would be fixed by the end of business day and that it was just a breaker problem and that they would bring in a new fridge. No one contacted me back at all that day. Upon arriving home I noticed all lights in the kitchen were out and nothing was fixed. Maintenance left a note on the door that had nothing checked as to what they did or didn't do in the apartment. I still have that notice they left. I went into the office today on 10/17 due to office being closed when I arrived home. I asked the property manager what was going on and why hadn't anyone contacted me to give me any updates on the apartment. He had no answer. I asked him what could we do to resolve these issues. He was being extremely nasty and ride while employee's just sat and watched. I asked him did he have another apartment availiable for me to move to he said no. I asked him did he have an estimated time that the apartment would be fixed given I was told these issues would be fixed yesterday he said no. I asked him would they be refunding me my deposit of $250.00 plus first months rent of $495.00 paid on 10/13 he said no. I asked him what would he suggest I do and his reply was this is out of his control and I should do whatever I wanted to do. I asked him did he have an email or address to the management company where I could send the conversation we were having to and he replied and I quote "The only email address I can give you right now is www. GO F[redacted] yourself .com. His exact words. The Lady who rented me the apartment said nothing, there was also another female working housekeeper there, and one of the maintenance men. Appalled, I told him ok thank you and left the office. I have no idea what to do at this point but after being verbally abused and practically robbed. I have to start somewhere. Desired SettlementI asked the manager for any other options as listed in the complaint details. He said no to everything I proposed or asked about. I would not like to live at this property anymore especially after the verbal abuse when all I was doing was attempting to get answers and some form of agreement on how we could resolve this issue. I would like a full refund of what was paid to them $250.00 deposit paid in a money order #XXXXXXXXXX on 10/05 and $495.00 also paid in a money order #XXXXXXXXXX on 10/13/2015. The apartment is not livable in the conditions it is in and should've never been available for rent in the first place. I want out this lease and to be fully refunded. At this point I am not seeking any other compensation.
