Review: I gave Hunting Creek Farm a cash deposit and signed a contract 13 months before my wedding date. I was told that I would get a copy of the signed contract in the mail. I never got a copy of the contract nor did I receive any form of a receipt. Not even a month after I signed the contract, plans changed and I needed a refund. The company has no grace period and I was refused a refund although my notice is very reasonable. I was told that if she rebooked, she would return my deposit. It is unfair that she placed the condition of my refund on her business. Since this statement from her, I have received no communication whatsoever. I have been trying to contact the business through email, registered mail, regular mail, messaging and phone call for about a month and have been completely ignored. It is unacceptable that I can not receive a refund with a 13 month notice and it is also unfair that I have been ignored over this situation.Desired Settlement: I am still requesting a refund of my $1,300 cash deposit. My notice is more than reasonable.

This customer then threatened "it is also unfair to place your future business on a refund". This was considered as a threat and therefore all communication with the customer was stopped. The customer then started a [redacted] campaign with an effort to malign our business. She has since called our business in which case we did not respond. We requested a letter of cancelation from the customer and never received it. We offered to refund the deposit, if the date we held for the customer, could be rebooked. The customer's initial deposit was more than the required deposit by $152.50. This was promptly returned to the customer a long with a copy of contract.
