Account Hold
I deposited my daughters payroll check on 8/29 there was a check hold placed, but not only that my account was put on lock down. I cant use my debit card or zelle. My other daughter is away at school and I need to zelle her money. They tell me there is nothing can do about it when an extended hold is placed on a check it locks down the account. I have never heard of this before and this has never happened before and I've been depositing my daughters check since May why it is an issue now and why access to my available funds are denied unless I go to the branch and sit for 20 minutes I have no clue. Once those funds are available I will be closing this account. I cant risk something else happening and I'm not able to access my funds during non banking hours nor do I have the time to go to the bank and sit for twenty minutes while a teller calls someone. The hold was for $335.00 I still had money available no reason to lock down the entire account!

$31.00 for a Senior Citizen
This is incredibly ignorant. I started 9.13.2021 to have my mothers account closed (I am her POA) because we moved out of state where there are no TCF Banks. $31.00 was the balance on her account. I was told to send in a notarized statement to her branch and it would be taken care of. What a joke of an establishment to work with. At least 12 calls made, numerous individuals, they finally told me I had to fill out a stop payment (because of course a 96 yr young Senior is going to steal $31). So I did this on 12.14.21. Still have not received mom's money and now when I call they don't see me on mom's account a her POA which I have been for over 3 years! So I am on eternal hold AGAIN to try and resolve this. If not resolved I will go to the media and Attorney General on how this company does not want and has not returned a Senior's $31.00! Pathetic business practice. Just pathetic!

Review: Deposited a check into my checking account on friday the 4th,was told it would take day to clear and would be available on tuesday the 8th as they didnot count the weekend.It was not so I called again and was told it would be available on wednesday the 9th,It was not so I called again and Iwas told it would not be available till friday the 11th.I complained and was told there was nothing I could do about it and that I could not get my check back or stop the process.I have been Lied to twice and dont know what happened to my money.The check was from [redacted],A well established businessI have received numorous late fees because of the time it is taking to get to my moneyDesired Settlement: Give me my check back or cash it and give me access to my money

Review: 1/17/2014To Huntington Bank Management, I went to Huntington bank in Champion this morning; I just opened up a total of [redacted] in car loans with your bank and I was considering opening up a business checking/savings account as well. I was originally speaking to a bank representative, but then I was interrupted by your teller [redacted]. I was originally there to make a payment on my loans After a few moments of dealing with her I told [redacted] she wasnt being very friendly due to her speaking to me in a condescending manner... Her response to me verbatim- was I dont give a [redacted]! Im doing my job! In front of everyone! I am an owner of a local [redacted] branch, and was in uniform at the time, and I was absolutely appalled that your bank would have an employee, let alone a supervisor, would dare treat a customer that way. This really saddens me because this isnt what I expected from a professional company and I refuse to be belittled by anyone, as I do my best to treat everyone I encounter with upmost respect. Now that I am aware that this is how your bank does business I am aped to withdraw my loan and never do any business there again. I just want to make you aware that I am in the process of checking with other financial institutions to pick up the loan due to the way that I was treated.
