These accusations are simply not true Our office has been very accommodating to each maintenance request and complaint from this group, which has been excessive They have had a very demanding and combative attitude since their arrival at the property (move-in) Each repair that has been requested has been accommodated and there have been several clear communications about each request A tenant called yesterday expressing that she was upset that a maintenance crew had entered her property without notification or permission This is a very serious accusation which is not taken lightly by our officeThey were notified of the repairs on several occasions and had recently requested interior repairs, as well I went to the property to investigate the accusation and called the maintenance manager of this project The project is a removal of a garage per the City's requirement This project was put on hold for over a week after providing ample notice because the tenants had requested extra time to remove their belongings; which consisted mostly of trash(pictures on file) The maintenance manager told me he had knocked on the door and asked if they could plug in an extension cord for their power tools They were met with a friendly tenant who agreed to allow them access to the electrical outlet just inside the door There was not an exterior outlet to utilize The tenants are not communicating with each other and this is where the confusion began When I visited the property I explained to the upset tenant that they had been given permission by her roommate She was combative and kept asking why a sub-contractor was at her property at all We hire all subcontractor for all jobs of all properties that we manage We do not have one specific maintenance crew We have several groups that we work with She did not seems to understand that process I kept explaining that they were given permission by her other roommate to plug in their extension cord She asked why there wasn't someone above me she could speak to and I explained that I am the property manager Her response was " what are we supposed to do when our property manager is a B***?" I said that is not very endearing and walked away The statement that they are being harassed is over statement

These accusations are simply not true.  Our office has been very accommodating to each maintenance request and complaint from this group, which has been excessive.  They have had a very demanding and combative attitude since their arrival at the property (move-in).  Each repair that...

has been requested has been accommodated and there have been several clear communications about each request.  A tenant called yesterday expressing that she was upset that a maintenance crew had entered her property without notification or permission.  This is a very serious accusation which is not taken lightly by our office. They were notified of the repairs on several occasions and had recently requested interior repairs, as well.   I went to the property to investigate the accusation and called the maintenance manager of this project.  The project is a removal of a garage per the City's requirement.  This project was put on hold for over a week after providing ample notice because the tenants had requested extra time to remove their belongings; which consisted mostly of trash. (pictures on file)  The maintenance manager told me he had knocked on the door and asked if they could plug in an extension cord for their power tools.  They were met with a friendly tenant who agreed to allow them access to the electrical outlet just inside the door.  There was not an exterior outlet to utilize.  The tenants are not communicating with each other and this is where the confusion began.  When I visited the property I explained to the upset tenant that they had been given permission by her roommate.  She was combative and kept asking why a sub-contractor was at her property at all.  We hire all subcontractor for all jobs of all properties that we manage.  We do not have one specific maintenance crew.  We have several groups that we work with.  She did not seems to understand that process.  I kept explaining that they were given permission by her other roommate to plug in their extension cord.  She asked why there wasn't someone above me she could speak to and I explained that I am the property manager.  Her response was " what are we supposed to do when our property manager is a B[redacted]?" I said that is not very endearing and walked away.  The statement that they are being harassed is over statement.
