In September 2018 we paid for 40 classes for my son and he didn't take all of them. It has been impossible for me to get a refund.
09/12/2018 we paid $2,835.00 USD to the Huntington Learning Center for the preparation of my son for the SAT Subject Tests of Mathematics and Physics. At the moment the center said they had to order the materials and search for the teachers so my son couldn't start right away. Because of reasons I don't know the center canceled some classes and my son had to present the tests without having received all the lessons we paid for.
Since then I've been calling, messaging, I went many times to the center to speak to the manager and until now the only answer I got from Mr. is that the refund check was in his "to do list" and this was in April this year. Sincerely I don't know what else to do to get our money back.
We assumed this was a serious business, managed by serious people but until now nobody has returning my calls or my messages.
I only want to get our money back.

Mrs. enrolled her son at our center in September of 2018.
The services enrolled for her son were SAT specific subjects and subject tutoring. At the time of enrollment a schedule was created,and a teachers were scheduled based upon this schedule.
Due to the timing for the upcoming tests, the subject material tutored, teacher availability, and the student's course load attendance on the scheduled days was imperative to complete the program.
The enrollment agreement signed by the parent specifically states the attendance policy for the program as well as the refunds policy.
There is no refund for SAT Subject Tests or for Subject Tutoring Hours. The customer purchased a program. The program was to completed in a specific time and was not completed.
When the parent was contacted in November to schedule the student for November and December it was expressed they no longer wanted to proceed with the remaining hours. The customer was reminded at that time there was no refund for this program. Huntington Learning Center at that time offered to extend the program for the next test in December and informed the customer they had until the end of the year to use the remaining hours or they would be lost.
The customer is not eligible for a refund due to the program parameters.

I can't accept this answer because it is full of lies. If the center or his manager wants to keep my money they should find some other excuses. NO ONE EVER said anything to me about no refunds for the SAT SubjectS Test preparation. They knew the exact dates for the SAT subjects Tests in the first days of November 2018 so why call to schedule for November and December if they knew the date since the beginning? And why call to do this schedule if they planned the schedule (as it is stated in their answer) at the time of enrollment?
Every time I went to speak to the manager he always said HE was going to send me the check. So someone is lying here and it is not me. It's a shame that a Business like Huntington Learning Center is being so poorly represented by the people managing the one located in Holland, Oh
I'm tired of trying to get my money back, but this business is making profit in a not very honest way.
So far every one who has a child that needs some tutoring and asks about my opinion about this business I have been telling them about my terrible experience with them and I will continue to spread the word of how bad they deal business.

I must respond to the consumer's response. The student in question was originally scheduled to continue services through December. Tutoring hours were purchased and a schedule was created. The student did not return and had his last session in November.

The owner of this learning center is a bully. Children regularly leave the consultations in tears because they are told they are not good enough. The owner has raised his voice when there is disagreement. I am a fan of the Huntington program but I would not recommend this center.
