There is absolutely no validity to your response other than the time of our meetings.  I'll describe in detail:- The first [redacted] we had that was managing my case showed me my daughter's test results which included more than half of the math completed.  I told her this in no way represented her current abilities and my daughter even admitted not trying after a while since the test was a number of hours long and she was bored.  I agreed to the program because I wanted "help" and I needed to do something for my daughter.  After some time I come in for another meeting and find out she was no longer employed.  I then started to meet with another gentlemen who reviewed the program once again.  It was discussed on numerous occasions that my daughter was complaining about the program and told me she would just be taking tests and doing worksheets over and over again.  He assured me that the program will work and to stick to it.  We also discussed what meetings they had with the school.  He informed me that he met with the [redacted] who in turn then got the information from the teachers.  I expressed my unhappiness then because I was told we would be getting together as a group with the learning center and her teachers.  Throughout the entire program I was never a part of any of these meetings if they ever occurred.  All I could rely on was the work of the learning center and that's not what I requested or expected based on my initial discussions when I signed my daughter up.  Since we have close ties with the school I will reach out to the school district and contact her 8th grade counselor, [redacted].  We spoke a number of times throughout the year and I'll find out the extent of your communication because I was not aware of it and other than the one time and I should have been apart of the discussions as I requested and was promised.- To tell me that she was making progress throughout the program and she didn't graduate on the 9th grade level because I took her out is outrageous and another reason why this complaint should be made public.  The last few weeks of her involvement with the school was discussed with [redacted], who was managing our program.  I expressed my concern for her study habits and the finals coming up.  He recommended that since [redacted] worked well with himself and the Science teacher that we use the hours to work with them for Science and Math and get her ready for her finals.  Once completed we reviewed the hours remaining and I was informed that after the last few weeks in the summer we covered all of the hours and unless I wanted to add more time the program was complete.  I was also told that she was now doing everything miraculously at 9th grade level.  I made the statement of "So I basically paid all of this money when my daughter didn't need the help, she was just lazy and failed the tests because she didn't apply herself".  He agreed this was most likely the case considering all of a sudden at the end she didn't have any issues with the testing when she actually tried.  So not only did you charge me for a system that didn't help my daughter in her study habits, reading habits, comprehension, or test taking, you also just stated that you charged me full price for a 204 hour program even though you are now stating I took her out after only 140 hours?- As I stated in my initial complaint the new [redacted] (I'm assuming) called me personally to ask me about my experience.  I expressed my disappointment and informed her that I never received meetings with the teachers, didn't feel [redacted] benefited from the program other than the limited math and science tutoring at the very end, and I couldn't recommend the program to anyone.  This was no fault of her own and she walked in and gained exposure to my situation at the end of the program.  I never spoke with her prior, having only dealt with [redacted] and the woman before him that left the company (and was never told that she left until I came in).  She wanted to make things right and apologized to me for my experience, stating that she wasn't involved previously.  She offered to take [redacted] in and we'd discuss some ways they can help.  As much as I appreciated the offer I turned it down because of the unwillingness my daughter expressed to go back and the amount of money I spent on a program that I felt was a waste of time and effort.?

Review: Last year I reached out to the Huntington Learning center in [redacted] in hopes of helping my daughter with school in general. They promised me that they would get her skills up to grade level, improve her organization and studying habits, and gain confidence overall. I spent thousands of dollars and wasted hours having my daughter come in to the center. They told me we would meet with the teachers and counselor as well as ongoing communication with the school. Not only did I never get the meetings but my daughter was never happy aside from meeting with one of their instructors and her grades dropped significantly. My daughter is at this time failing all subjects in her first year of high school. Ive shared my unhappiness and all they offered was for my daughter to come back and possibly get her started in another assistance program. I honestly wish there was a way to get my money back and I dont recommend their services to anyone.Desired Settlement: If possible I'd like to get a full refund. I expressed my feelings on more than one occasion and nothing changed with the process aside from a Science one on one during the time of her finals. At the end of her "program" she magically was considered up to school level. Nothing improved and I reached out for help only to be disappointed and my daughter now at risk of failing every subject.

Review: During March 2015, My wife and I went to HUNTINGTON LEARNING CENTER at Patchogue [redacted] to get information about the program to help my son with math. The advisor told us that he needs to take a test in order to evaluate him to see which areas my son needs help in. We paid the fee for the evaluation and the test took place at the end of March 2015.My wife and I returned to the HUNTINGTON LEARNING CENTER on 4-*-2015 to go over the evaluation. The advisor told us that my son needs 8 hours per week of learning for about 6 months in order to bring him to the 4th grade level. I told the advisor that my son is an average student and just needs help with math. The advisor then said that they need to go over everything from 1st grade to 4th in order to help. I told the advisor that we could not afford to pay the fee because it was too high. The advisor kept pushing us to get a loan, but I insisted that we could not make the decision at the time. In the end, they convinced us to pay $205 and that if we didn't like it we are able to get a full refund. Later, we did change our minds and called back to tell the advisor that we do not want to pay the $205 for the help. We made the request and the advisor told us that it would have to go through the corporate level in order to get the refund. To this day, we haven't recieved the refund and my wife has made several calls about it and did not gain a response from their part.Desired Settlement: We just want the $205 refund back to our credit.
