The fence that was
removed by her neighbor side was removed because she had us quote that section
and I am attaching a copy of the quote where that section of fence
was part of the contract to be removed and installed new All the e-mails
I send to Mrs*** with the quote had her neighbor's fence included
Her fence is a large fence and when dealing with wood once the boards
start to dry they can split We went back to her house and change all the
boards that she was complaining about She only paid to have runners to
be installed with the cedar fence and of course the third runner will give the
cedar boards the extra support needed She did not wanted to pay extra
for the 3rd runner to be installThis is the actual estimate I e-mailed her on
May 15, where she called me to have it approved and that is what she
agreed to be done The quote was for #
cedar, with mud-board at bottom of fence and up-graded all her posts to
schedule (heavy duty posts). This estimate includes the price to do
her neighbor’s fence
She is describing the
pool equipment as if we took the pump and the filters and jammed it on top of each
other
She had a box with live wires attached to the fence that is part of her pool equipment and that is the only thing that was removed
All we did was taken the box and put in the area with pool equipment so
we could change the boards and work in the area
Mrs*** can let us
know the day she want us there and we will be at her property to correct and
fixed what she wants done. *** will
stay there to make sure she approves everything before we leave. I do apologize for the waiting and I hope we
can solve this problem together

I am sorry that Mrs*** feels this way. First the price of the one gate she is
complaining about is $dollars
The quote on her fence was for #cedar boards with
runners and we installed #cedar at no extra charge to her. We also added a third runner on sections of
her fence at no extra chargeThe pool equipment that needs to be attached to
the existing fence can be done with no problem , all it needs is few hooks to
be attached. We did not charge her
to re-install the equipment once the fence was taken down.
She was complaining that the equipment is so old and she
did not even know if it works properly.
She asked me if I knew someone that could clean her black pool and check
on the equipment We want to install a new gate and re-attached her pool equipment
I will hope that Mrs *** will compromised and
allowed us to move forward with this

 I would like to settle this complaint, and move forward, yet not by the suggestions given.  If I were to forward half of the emails that I have with this company, it would explain the reasoning as to why I am 3-4 months away from it being a complete year, and I was forced to file this complaint.  The contract listed a separate quote for one neighbor, and not the other for a reason.  The quote was intended for my neighbor to decide upon a potential repair/replacement of their fence.  This was pointed out on several occasions.  When I arrived home, and saw that the entire fence was hauled off, I began to panic.  My neighbor was upset, yet settled down over time.  Following this, I could not extend the cost to them.  I thought that the monies paid, was my  cost, otherwise it would have not been separated.  This shows now I have been tolerating things from the start.   I will work with [redacted], under a few circumstances.  I will not remain at home, and manage her job site.  I will meet with [redacted], so that we can point out the issues, and she can get with [redacted] and assure that they are fixed properly. Many times [redacted] stated that she thought that the job was completed, because [redacted] stated that it was. [redacted] asked for 3 weeks to make a new door, that's just how screwed up the existing one is, yet after 5 weeks, I sent [redacted] a email, stating that I would file a complaint, and it was then that she was aware that the job was STILL not completed.  [redacted] came by again, removed a board, that was holding the door, and placed some wood glue on some areas, that is now separating. The locks are missing screws, some stripped.  The door hangs to the ground, and I was going to settle, just to rid the problem, but no longer. Three of the locks, must be properly installed, or changed. The locks face outwards. The fence was replaced for security reasons, and also regulations for the pool.  The wood, surrounding the pool equipment is too thin to hold the equipment, therefore, I will take responsibility to have another company to place the proper thickness of wood to the area.  [redacted], if this is agreeable, than I will work with you, and hopefully you can supervise [redacted], or another skilled employee. The adjustment on the gate has been done and it was not our fault, but we took care of it.  Someone force the gate open because the hinges of the gate where so tight it took a force to un- tightened the screws holding the hinges.  The hinges were twisted and that is why the gate was not...

Review: Hurricane Fence Company nailed a sign (with four large nails) into my wooden fence that they did not build. I have never hired or even consulted with Hurricane Fence Company. I came home one day to advertising on my property that I did not approve, for a company I have never employed. I called this company six times requesting the sign be removed; when you call the number on the sign, you always receive an answering machine that states a different number than the number listed on the sign. I received one call back (verifying the phone number does belong to this company despite the confusing answering machine message), stating that the sign would be removed immediately but that did not happen. I have an electronic gate opener on the back side of the fence, and it is currently opening improperly after being hammered against. At this point, there has been no response to my repeated requests to have the sign removed.Desired Settlement: Written apology, removal of the sign and, if necessary, repair to my gate opener.

Sorry, for the delay in getting back to you. We found out about this problem the day before I shot down for the holidays because I had to go out of the country and gave all our crews off. I was able to send an e-mail answering the complain from Mrs [redacted] to her personal e-mail. One of my installers helper in error nail the sign to the wrong fence. I am very sorry for that , it should have never happened. My crew when this morning to have the sign removed so we took care of it. Again , my deep apology. It was an error and thank you for bring it to our attention. I would not like to have my signed on someone else work that does not represent our quality of work. Thank you, [redacted]

Review: In June 2014, I contracted with Hurricane Fence Co., to remove, haul, and install 287' of wood fencing, with the construction of 4 wooden doors, 3 of them decorative self hinging entrance doors to yard. The doors in question, were to be 2- 4 ft. Wide, and 1-5 ft. Wide, both self hinging, due to a swimming pool in the yard. The construction is not of the best craftsmanship, yet I mainly complained of the doors being crooked and not hinging. The locks face outward, in which someone only has to unscrew the screw to remove. I have had to place several calls relating to its either poor construction, or areas that were damaged. Some boards were nailed down, and a few replaced. Out of frustration, I have over looked the poor construction, yet I'm hoping that a storm does not blow it down. My pool equipment was removed from the old fence, and remains tangled un- replaced to fence. The custom made doors remain uneven, and hardware remains poorly attached. The doors do not self hinge at all times. On the last visit, I was told that new doors would be made, and to allow 3 weeks. I allowed 5 weeks, and I had to call and complain. I did not receive new doors, yet a board was removed, to reattach the door leading into the yard. We scheduled another day to all meet, and I was to leave my yard key. I did so, to rush home to the same problems. No one came for the appointment and I received an email, instead of a call, that [redacted] could not make it. She later sent a message to meet on the following Saturday, during the busy Nomtoc parade traffic time. I knew from past experience that they would use the traffic as a reason that they could not make the appointment. I requested to be credited for the unfinished work and replace door, but was ask to give them another chance. We are now8-9 months with the same unfinished work. I have not been given a follow up call by the company. They won't respond, until I contact them with a complaint. This greatly surprised me, because I have been so lenient .Desired Settlement: Half refund, to have the doors made and installed properly, and to have a pool company to re-install pool equipment to fence.

Review: I was in NO LA for 3 days in July of 2015 and contacted and met with Hurricane Fence rep [redacted] who came right away and gave me a quote for my empty lot on [redacted]. I explained the need for the fence, the fact that I was out of town and that my son next door would be available to check on it. We finalized the details via email and the fence and 2 gates were put up early August 2015.

However we had #2 issues that were discussed right away and #1 that we are deferring for now regarding the barbed wire.

The second issue was mentioned in early October about one of the gates. My son emailed us:

The smaller gate by the front of my house and [redacted]. Someone was able to just pull on the lock and handle so that the latch slid past the pole, and have the gate open. Means the gate and post aren't close enough to each other. Tell your lady this .

I have passed this message on to [redacted] right away. Since October of 2015 there have been calls, texts, emails and promises to get this resolved. Latest was last week when I spoke with [redacted] and the plan was to take care of it weekend of 3-13-2106. Not done. Back to messages left everywhere and texts.

This is a safety issue for me as someone can push through the gate on my lot, get in and vandalize the side of my son's house or jump his yard fence and steal items from his backyard- which was done before and was the reason for the barbed wire fence and shared with [redacted] in July 2015.

I have given [redacted] months and months of getting this fixed but I feel very much taken advantage of for trying to be nice and accommodating. I have no other choice now but to start complaining about this unprofessional and unacceptable behavior and getting the Revdex.com involved.
