Hi ***. Sorry, no change. Due to the shortened timeline for the course, the original comments about the ‘14% rule of thumb’ with references to a withdraw needing to be in on / before January 21st (versus January 29th) are still in place.

Thank you for alerting us to the complaint received by the Bureau on February 26,
We would like to extend our sincere apologies to the individual for the confusion on the issueDuring the initial conversations with staff, they were informed that they could withdraw from a course and, after doing so, receive a 95% refund
Unfortunately, the initial response given to the individual was later corrected when the staff person realized that, based on the nature/length of the course, the amount of time you are given to withdraw and still receive a 95% refund had passedBy that time, the individual had withdrawn because of the direction given through the original conversation
We believe that we should honour the advice given during that initial conversation and reimburse the individualWe are currently in the process of completing that refund directly with the individual
