In January 2017, Ms. [redacted] attempted to pay her rent online and assumed our system was having issues with payment processing. However, after speaking with her via email and once via phone, I reached out to our accounting team at our corporate office and learned that the error that was occurring...

was due to Ms. [redacted] entering an incorrect account number. She was informed of this and proceeded to give the name and phone number of a gentleman who handles her finances, “[redacted].” After speaking to “[redacted]”, he was informed that a confirmation of his account number was needed to figure out why the payment was not going through. He stated that the bank would not provide him this information. He then proceeded to mail a paper check and it was received on January 19, 2017.   In February 2017, Ms. [redacted] still had the wrong account number online and her payment did not process. A seven (7) day demand to pay rent was sent to Ms. [redacted] via email on the February 9th and she responded to the email asking if a payment that she mailed on January 31st was received in our office. I informed her that no payment was received for her for her February rent. She said she would reach out to “[redacted]” and get confirmation. “[redacted]” called and spoke with us stating he had sent a payment via certified mail. We reiterated that we had not received it. The certified mail receipt was requested from him along with a document from his bank showing that the payment was debited from his account to show proof that he had attempted to make the payment. He stated that he could not provide it and someone from the post office would be visiting the office to show us the signature for the certified mail receipt. No one from the post office came to our office with any of the information that “[redacted]” claimed they would provide.  Other than phone conversations, we have also tried communicating with Ms. [redacted] via email, but she stated that she felt “harassed” by us so we decided not to email any longer. We have not heard from Ms. [redacted] since then other than this Revdex.com complaint.  Unfortunately, we will be unable to stop eviction proceedings unless the balance is paid in full.   Also, we would like to request that Ms. [redacted] provide proof of payment and clear documentation of the payment(s) that Ms. [redacted] & “[redacted]” claim to have sent to us to include the following.   • Certified mail information • Bank statement • Canceled check • Any other pertinent information   Sincerely, [redacted] Assistant Property Manager Hurstbourne Estates
