[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Assumed Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This business puts out poor quality work is rude to their customers and cannot even diagnose the simplist defect without making tripsThe owner was never available it was always the rude office staff then instead of calling my husband and I back concerning the issue he sends out a condescending letter implying it was my fault technicians couldn't figure out it was a thermostatsIt is with great pleasure we've already found an honest educated company that allows you to make appointments and not sit at home waiting for them all dayWe should not have had to pay $but I am sure a company with this type of poor customer service needs the $more Regards, Susie [redacted]

To the best of my memory, I've never spoken to Susie [redacted] at any time during this episode so her remark about my "rudeness" is simply untrue Their decision to stay at home (off work) was made by them alone and we can't do anything further for these folks...sorry ell us why here

We did receive a request for service from this customer on/about March, with complaint that the heat pump would NOT come on. We responded promptly, cycled system (using both thermostats) and could not find any problems. We had earlier quoted the $as our minimum diagnostic
charge and the customer did not object to this charge. They were only billed for our minimum diagnostic fee and nothing more. We did not get payment for this call at that time, and heard nothing further from them about any problems until May, when they called and said the system was still not working properly in one zone. Our serviceman returned and replaced a thermostat, and billed them for $for the thermostat. They were not billed for any additional trip even though the previous visit was nearly two months prior. After the 2nd visit, we assume the system then worked properly. The problem with thermostats is that they are VERY difficult to "catch" not working properly. Many times they will work while there and fail hours or days later and sometime just work intermittently. The problem thermostat was still working on our 2nd visit, but we could not find any other problems, so assumed the thermostat was it. Anyway, we replaced the thermostat and left bill for $which was total for both March and May visits along with late penalty on earlier non-payment. We received payment totally $on May, along with a letter from the wife explaining why she felt she did not owe us the total amount. I sent her a letter back the same day (June 2017) stating that we would agree to the reduced payment however they would need to use another company for future repairsSo in summary, we responded to their request for the quoted amount in March, returned in May and replaced a thermostat, received a reduced payment to which we agreed. They have received more than they've paid for at this point
