I am rejecting this response because:first off he cracked the step under the door the day they took up old concrete used sledge hammers when they tried to break up concrete by step a crack happened in step he said he would fix it he put some concrete on crack in step at the time of pouring of concrete it did not even cover whole crack my wife and I were very unhappy with results there was no crack in step before he started work second there are cracks in driveway happened on may when I parked car on driveway the other happen cracks after 5/14/he poured concrete on 4/18/did not put stress joints in driveway said he would be back in mourning to saw in stress joints I had to call him times to finally get him to put in stress joints there were no cracks on driveway at this time so the story about him seeing a car parked on driveway is a lie nobody parked on that driveway till 5/when first cracks happened I have a written contract that states I am supposed to have inches of concrete on driveway where cracks are I have inches of concrete there I also am supposed to have a inch stone base under concrete they put no stone base in I have a year warranty on cracks on this written contract the warranty on cracks to driveway was reason I hired him without warranty would hav never hired him I thought mr [redacted] would back his work and warranties but obviously I was wrong I gave him months to fix driveway the drive way is not even months old and has cracks in it the worst contractor I have ever hired very shoddy work and doses not stand behind his work or honor written warranty that he wrote

I did do a job for mr*** *** .A driveway he seemed to be a respectfull customer at the time We removed an old driveway and walkway there was NO step that he claimed got crackedIt was a deteriorated brick coarse underneath the door that was parged with stucco that cracked and before i
poured I asked him if he wanted me to remove the brick and piur it solid concrete and I gave him a very fare price and he denied so I put a parge coat on top of the crack for FREE to give my job a beautiful look for my portfolio and he and his wife was very pleasedI also gave him instructions for the care of the concrete for the first days DO NOT PARK ON IT FOR DAYS WATER IT FOR DAYSlet the concrete cureI was doing a job in his development the following week and drove by his home and a car was parked in the driveway I got out my truck and rang bell and no answer I left a note on the car stating THEY CAN NOT PARK ON DRIVEWAY OR IT WILL CRACKI got no responsea month later I recieved a call from *** that he had a crack in his driveway and I told him what I saw and he got extremely violent at me stating no one has parked in driveway and hung up on me Another month went by and I recieved another call from *** and at this time he sounded under the influence of alcohol (but im no expert) he was ranting that he wanted me to fix the crack and proceeded to make threats of law suits and so one I hung up and ignored him I went by his home and put a saw cut where the crack was but the damage was done when the car parked on it. I poured his driveway at a psi at a slump and the requirements for a residential driveway is psi I go the extra mile to prevent cracks and if its my fault I go back to take care of any problems. I understand he is upset and I truly feel bad but he should of left the caution tape up until the curing process was doneThank you for yoyr time
