Horrible customer service, poor communication. Rude employees.
we placed our order, paid in full. I was emailed by a Ms. my order needed to be verified. I needed to send a copy of my DL. I did. then I was told my order was cancelled because fraud was detected. so I called... I got the absolute worst customer service from that moment on. the man on the phone was extremely rude..treated as a liar.. a their.. I was insulted. I called Ms. told me I sent her a fake ID, that my ID wasn't real. (um... what?!) so I sent in several bills, and new photos of my ID.

after ALL that... I wanted to speak to someone in charge, I did not like being accused of identity theft and called a liar. and talked to so rude.
I have yet to receive a follow up email or call after I've called several times.
I needed to buy 4 units... 10k nearly... I was trying out one unit, 2300 to just see how I liked them, plus the customer service...well NEVER AGAIN. I couldn't get a call back or follow up from *** the apparent manager. not even Ms. or ***.. or anyone. If you can... use another company. usually Id be like wow they take their customer safety seriously... but the lack of communication, the rudeness... super unprofessional.

Desired Outcome

I'd like a discount on my order for the ordeal. Or I'll take my business elsewhere.

Customer placed the order on our online website. Our fraud software flagged the order as suspicious activity and requested a form of identification to be sent it. Customer complied but the identification was flagged as suspicious by our fraud software and they requested us to cancel the order.

We received multiple emails from the customer and a couple calls trying to explain the situation but the order had already been cancelled.

*** (and other members of our company ) have reached out via email and phone calls multiple times to offer a discount for another order and a possible way to resolve this issue but we never received a response from the customer. At this point we cannot achieve the customers desired resolution if they will not respond to our emails or phone calls.

The software they are claiming flagged my proof of identity, is a person, who said I sent them a fake ID, and said I was lying. I do not appreciate things being sugar coated to save face on Revdex.com. I was offered $100 discount, after weeks of trying to order and trying to get a AC unit ASAP for my business. Thanks to their lake of customer service, communication, I'm at risk of loosing 40,000k worth of product. Due to their "software" which is really a single person who joked on the phone about it. I do not find it funny to be called a liar

We attempted to contact the customer several times and offered a discount to proceed with the order if they wished. We attempted numerous times to make things right with the customer however the customer continued to call and email our employees asking for a resolution but then not accepting any resolution that we attempted to offer. We are also confused as to how the customer is at risk of losing $40,000 worth of product when we were told that this was being shipped and installed in a cabin that they just moved to and why the address did not match and was initially flagged for fraud. The customer never ended up receiving any product and were never charged for any order even though we made multiple attempts to continue with an order at a discounted price for the issue.

Actually what we told Hvacdirect was that we were ordering one unit, to see if the DIY install was easy, and then we would be purchasing 3 more units for our pole barns. We never said it was for a cabin. They must he confused about what customer we are, which shows the amount of complaints they receive. At this point I'm done arguing. We went with a different company and received our unit within a week. And cheaper.

The ONLY resolution that was offered was $100 discount, when their units are already overpriced compared to competition.
Thankfully the other company understood our dealings with Hvacdirect as they have also heard many horror stories and quickly got our unit and saved our products.
Clearly this company does not care.
Not a SINGLE person they claim reached out to me, honestly did. I have several sent emails I sent to different people in their company and not one single person wrote me back. The only time I got a response was when I called and waited nearly an hour. THEN that same person followed up in a email to offer a measly $100 discount.
This company is a liar and a fraud.
My driver's license matched my order shipping address, matched my bank account address on file etc. Once again another lie from the company trying to cover their tracks and blame the CUSTOMER for their poor business
