As per your questions: 1) Tub ordered too small for space? Prior to ordering I personally showed customer specs and measured on job which tub would be more suitable for jobThe tub agreed on was orderedDue to door frame in way the original size agreed on was orderedUpon installation date the owner said tub was too small for his family and a larger tub is required and door frame and tile cut 2) There was no additional paper workMy office manager was able to locate different tubs in *** and were able to get ASAP same morningII explain this in previous letter and told him I would be fair on price with different cost and labor it would have cost more time to leave job and come back another timeThe discussion was an oral arrangement in front of the of us and my employees 3) The tub removals he had someone take out for removal, cost me the scrap value 4) I already had reduced his invoice Henry B/ President H.WBRYK & SONS, INC

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have people to verify my story, pipe was not broke or cracked the water was backed up in the washing machine drain which I showed brandon when he arrivedwater was up to the top top of the pipe not leaking from anywhere, or it wouldn't have been fullthe other company unplugged the drain, because once he broke it I told him the hwas running everywhere at that point a grabbed numerous towels to soak up the sewer h20, he didnt finish the jobHe was a very young man, i'm sure it was accidental, but they should stand behind their wrong-doingsRegards, *** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI would have been happy to pay the amount I expected, and greatly appreciate that the company reviewed everything that happened, refunded the charge, and will make sure to avoid this confusion going forwardI understand now that this was not a deliberate fraud and merely a miscommunication between departmentsI was initially very taken aback when the person who called for the updated credit card number did not note the increased amount that would be charged (which led me to assume it would be the same amount I expected), and then a much larger charge appearedI greatly appreciate the Revdex.com's effort to resolve this, and the thoughtful response of the company
Sincerely,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowRevdex.com spoke to consumer and the following was relayed: There was no additional labor, the first tub they brought was sub-standard and the one that was ultimately installed was the same size as the original tub that was taken outThey did not remove either tub as I paid another individual to do soI am willing to pay for the price of the new faucet, that is the only reasonable resolution

I understand that the *** rep is taking over to satisfy my claim but iam still not satisfied until my boiler system is working properly and it is not endangering my families welfare with carbon monoxide

Enclosed you will find a copy of maintenance work done to said boilerBoiler was cleaned and new burners were installedH W Bryk again suggested enclosure of boiler with wall to stop attraction of lint from dyerFresh air boiler was also installed on 2-23/

On 12/28/my dispatcher received a call for service for a sewer smell and possible sewer pluggageUpon arrival, owner took plumber into basement and showed plumber where drain pipe was (wall hung sewer between concrete wall and finished x interior wall)Owner already had water on floor and
rags to soak up waterThe concealed chase was about to feet long and could not see where pipe was going through concrete to outside sewer, There was no access at that point to clean sewerOwner showed plumber outside house trap and cleanoutPlumber used standard sewer machine with cable and found pluggage to be in pipe going into house towards concealed areaSewer opened up; cause was unknownOwner was concerned about water and smellPlumber removed brick on end of fireplace and drywallFound 3" pvc y pipe with cleanout going into x not accessibleCrack and small hole on bottom right side fitting not accessibleEnclosed picture shows where water was leaking, right side, toward concrete wall. This indication shows this was a preexisting problem that showed up due to sewer being pluggedI, as owner of company, responded to problem. Since the pipe fitting was partially in wall, repair could be at that point or within wall and/or outside excavation for repairDue to previous emergencies going on, I suggested temporary taping of hole and crackThis would let owner still be able to use facilities with minimum drip into bucketI informed owner we probably would not get to repair for a few daysOwner stated she would probably get someone sooner. Since leak was there previously, who caused pipe crack is questionable. Access panel should have been installed and proper fittings for sewer cleanoutTotal invoice of $162.00 for two hours was fair and there was no charge for my personal repair investigationSincerely, Henry Bryk

We apologize that there was a miscommunication on this caseOur Operations Team and Management Team reviewed the case correspondence extensively over the last two days and we have located the issuePer the review of the case, while we rarely give a solid quote for how long it will take for us to
send a file to an attorney, we did overshoot the general quoted time by over minutesWe hadn’t worked on this client’s file for over seven months, and the file had been sent to ArchivesWhen we were recently contacted by the client to send the file to the attorney, we had to pull it from Archive, scan it in, assemble and send to the attorney’s officeDue to the amount of time that had lapsed, it took us longer than the original quote from six months earlierThe client was originally quoted “an hour or so” (which equates to $90.00), and the work done to send the file actually took minutesAnother one of the breakdowns in communication was between the Advocate working the file and our Accounting DepartmentOur Accounting Department was under the assumption that additional work would be done on this file, which is why there was a charge for future work to be doneThis was not accurately noted in our system, and our Accounting Department should have reviewed more closelyThey would have seen that this was being sent to an attorney and our part of the process was 100% overWe were not acting fraudulently, but we can see where this would be confusing and irritating for the client.? The portion of the complaint stating that the credit card was charged without the client’s permission is not exactly accurateWhen we originally went to charge the credit card for the work on the file after we were contacted to send the file to the attorney, the client’s credit card had declinedThe client was aware that this would take some time, and we had to contact her for a new credit card numberShe provided the new number to our Accounting Deptand was aware that her card was going to be chargedThe confusion mainly appears to be over how much was to be charged, which we have explained above.? ? At this time, we are processing a refund to the client of $While we did in fact do minutes of work on this case, we feel it is best refund the charge and provide this service to this client for freeThese sort of breakdowns in communication between our departments, and between our staff and our clients, are not acceptableAfter reviewing the full account, we have identified several coaching opportunities for our staff that we will make sure to address.? ? We know the process with insurance is confusing and frustrating, and communication issues from our office are never intentionalIt is our mission to partner with families to make this process easiernot harderWe apologize that we did not live up to that in this instance.? Again, we apologize for any frustration we may have causedOur management team appreciates constructive reviews? and we want to provide the highest quality service to our families

In response to this complaint I have enclosed a copy of the contract. I showed the tub specifications and with the owner I went over dimensions of units on premises in bathrooms on walls and floors, When units were to be installed he then stated after visually seeing the unit he wanted bigger side...

units due to his children's height. I was there with 3 men and his demolition man to go over the increase of opening the door frame and floor for the larger units. I was fortunate to get different units from a different supplier immediately. He also requested a 2 pressure balance faucet (now 2 total). My difference in price was for difference in tub prices, extra labor, pick up of tub and installation of 2nd faucet. I was very fair. Contract was for $2,650.00.  Paid 11/13/15 $1,950.00.  Paid 11/20/15 S700.00. Owes $1250.00 (this is for the difference in tub prices, extra labor, pick up of tub, and installation of 2nd faucet). Sincerely, Henry B. President H.W. BRYK & SONS, INC.

Revdex.com spoke to Hank at business and...

the following was relayed: Yesterday my man was out there with the manufacturer ([redacted]) rep. The manufacturer verified that the issue is not due to installation but is from cat litter and lint. The manufacturer has taken full responsibility, issued the customer a claim number, and will be directly working with and resolving the issue with the customer. There was nothing wrong with our installation. Additionally their water tank went bad. It has a lifetime warranty and we supplied a free tank. The customer will not pay for the labor so in good faith we also absorbed the labor cost to install.
