Review: H&W put a new roof on my house 7/22/2013 with a 5 year warantee against leaks. Before the job was done, my solar fan was making noise and they adjusted twice. Now it is raining through the same solar fan and I cannot:1. I cannot contact anyone at H&W for almost a month now.2. the names on there business cards, are either no longer answering, the number listed or no longer work there: [redacted], [redacted]. I was given the name of the General Mgr, [redacted], who called back to say he works for another company4. I was also given the number of the owner, [redacted] and an automatic number was the response. I left a message but do not expect a response.I feel stupid to have given them my businessDesired Settlement: Repair the leak, as guaranteed

Review: Failure to respond to phone messages, failure to respond in a timely manner and failure to provide necessary paperwork for warranty transfer.

Upon the sale of my home in Hawaii, I wanted to notify the manufacturer of the transfer of warranty for roof replacement which is required within 30 days of transfer. While still residing in Hawaii during the end of November until the fifth of December 2013, I placed three different phone calls to the number [redacted], left phone messages and did not receive a call back. Since that time I have called and spoke with a receptionist and received a return call from [redacted]. the next day. I explained what I required but it was never provided. On 13 December I called and left another message on the office answering machine and received a return call from [redacted] and I explained what I required for the manufacturer's warranty. I contacted [redacted] again on 19 December and he told me he was waiting for the paperwork. On 26 December I sent an email to all parties I dealt with at HW Roofing and have received no return call or email. On 26 December I left phone messages at the office and to [redacted] that have not been returned. On 26 December my wife left a phone message with the office that was returned by [redacted] who has stated he has had no luck in obtaining the information we require.

As per my conversation with [redacted] on 13 December I understand that the five year warranty by HW Roofing, dated 24 September 2013, will be honored by HW Roofing should the new owners contact them; and that as long as they have a copy of the HW Roofing warranty they were not required to send in any change of owner paperwork.

What I still require to change the manufacturer's warranty with [redacted] is:

1. A copy of my receipt for the work done on my roof at [redacted] St., [redacted], HI during April 2013. I was not provided a copy of the receipts for the two payments made for this roof work.

2. The proof of purchase of the product from [redacted].

3. I need to know the name of the product installed to provide [redacted].Desired Settlement: I simply want the information I need to complete the manufacturer's warranty.

Would you let Mr. [redacted] know we apologize for any inconvenience delaying the manufacturer's warranty. Over this weekend, Mr. [redacted] had stopped by and reissued a 2nd manufactures warranty to give to the new owners (the 1st one was lost by Mr. [redacted]) but no one was home so he left the warranty and the proof of purchase in their mailbox. Please let me know if anything else is needed.

In regards to accepting the response provided from this business, I will acknowledge that they did respond and can only assume that the new owners of the residence have the warranty for the correct product installed on the roof. I may not be satisfied with the way this company handles their administrative procedures and apparent lack of response to customer service complaints (it should not take three months to resolve a simply issue such as this) but if the new owners have the correct warranty information then please close this case out.

Review: I hired HW Roofing to re-roof my art studio. The roof leaked and I called them. They said they would come by and never showed up at the appointment time. I talked with [redacted] and he said he was too busy and re-scheduled. He never showed up for the new appointment or called either time. My roof still leaks. I had to re-schedule my life for them only to be disappointed.Desired Settlement: Fix the leak in the roof and honor your appointments or call before hand.
