Hwy 100 & Loomis Rd Auto Sales Reviews (3)

I was quoted numbers on a specific vehicle and when I showed up at the dealership to close the deal the price went up significantly

Hi my name is [redacted] I purchased 2007 Cadillac STS I was treated Very professional. sales staff name Jose Explain all the avantage of purchasing a vehicle Gave me the option Have my personal mechanic inspect the vehicle. And 30 days warranty. for free two weeks after purchasing I had vehicle inspected by[redacted] They recommended a catalytic converter wish total price was $908.70 I called the dealer and spoke with JOSE And told hiout my repairs On my recent purchase He's answered was Just go-ahead and get it repair The dealer will pay with a business credit card. I will definitely will purchased another vehicle at Hwy 100 Auto sales

Review: On 8/22/13 my wife bought a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan from [redacted] at Hwy 100 and Loomis Auto Sales with a 30 day warranty. She thought she smelt something burning on the test drive but was told the smell was from the new brakes with seemed plausible at the time. A few days later we noticed leaks from the vehicle in the garage and then later the check engine light came on. On 8/29/13 my wife brought the vehicle back to them and they said they did a "sensor test" and that she needed to use higher grade gasoline and that the leaks were from the air conditioner. We started using the premium gas, and did not use the air conditioner. (btw... the first paragraph of the fuel requirements section in the owners manual says "The use of premium gasoline is not recommended".) The problem persisted so my wife brought it back on 9/12/13. On 9/13/13 they told her they could not find any problem and to take it to her own mechanic. They said if our mechanic could find any problems they would pay to have it fixed. We took in to a local mechanic on 9/16/13 and got an estimate for $629 for problems with the intake manifold and the cooling system leaks. When my wife called the dealership about the estimate, they gave her a hard time about the price and size of the problem and said they would fix it themselves. With the warranty coming to an end in days I got personally involved today, 9/17/13 and went to the dealership with my wife and the minivan. A [redacted] who was the salesman to my wife and possibly the owner/manager/mechanic was completely unhelpful and refused to address the issues. When an argument began about the terms of our agreement he told me he was done talking to me and to leave. I took a day off work to resolve this and it is a half hour drive so I was not willing to leave so quickly. When I refused he threatened to call the police, which I invited him to do. The police were very nice and more helpful to me than [redacted] ,but told me they could not help as it was a civil matter, but they gave me a record number as proof that I was there inside of the 30 days of my warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like either the required fixes made and paid for under the terms of the warranty by a certified mechanic or garage before my warranty expires on 9/22/13. If that is not possible I would like my money back on the purchase.

His advertising and warranty claims are very questionable at least and stretch the limits of truthfulness at very best. I have trouble believing this same man is not the owner or at very least has the same first and last name. I would question his deserving an A+ rating from the Revdex.com. Thank you.
