We booked our move with the owner, [redacted] about a month and a half before our move. On the day of the move, 2 movers were supposed to be sent to our location at 10AM. Around 10:10 we tried contacting [redacted] and after leaving 20-30 calls/voicemails/emails in about an hour we knew we were in trouble because he wasn't responding. After confirming to have a few friends come help out [redacted] finally emailed back, saying that the original movers had an accident (which we later found out to be a lie) and couldn't show up, but that he would get 2 other guys over "soon". We emailed back saying that we were upset and stressed out and asked him to please call us ASAP so that we could make sure that we were all set. After ignoring our requests to be called back (he said he was at church but he was still able to send emails which struck me as an odd thing to do/say) he continued to email a couple of times asking for the address and then to let us know that the 2 new guys were on the way but their GPS was broken and they were getting gas, but would be there in about 45 minutes. Both of these also were lies as the 2 movers showed up individually in their own cars without any moving materials as promised originally (dollies, box cutters, etc.). The first mover also told us that [redacted] had called him saying that they initially forgot to schedule the move so he needed him to help out. The first mover showed up past 11 by himself at which point I already had 3 other friends/family members helping to move the truck. The second mover came around 11:45. At the end, the mover told me I was still due to pay the originally agreed upon price because they had been there for 2 hours (one of them had been there for slightly less than 1.5 hours and the other for about an hour). I paid and told the movers to please have [redacted] call me ASAP to sort this mess out. I've called and emailed [redacted] multiple times since the move and he has never responded to any form of communication.Product_Or_Service: Moving ServicesOrder_Number: N/AAccount_Number: N/ADesired SettlementI'd like for [redacted]/the business to contact me and to give me back at least a portion of the bill as the movers were late, unresponsive, and didn't work the full amount which caused me to have to do much of the work with my family and friends helping. An apology wouldn't hurt either as I feel that I've been disrespected and lied to multiple times by [redacted].

I hired JD Moving Systems of Apex, NC, which is endorsed on the [redacted] website, to manage a move from one home into temporary storage at [redacted] followed by a second move into a new home. During the process, the movers damaged my antique dining room set which was inherited from my mother. The damage to the breakfront is extensive, and pieces are missing from the pedestal table. The owner of the company, [redacted], has failed to return my repeated phone calls, emails, and texts to address the damage and to stand by the reputation of his company.Desired SettlementI would like for the furniture to be repaired by a professional restorer of my choice.

The worst Moving Company.Highly dissatisfied customer. Many damages and loses incurred by this moving company. Treated badly and owner threatened me.Worst moving experience of my life. A nightmare till this day. Multiple damages, some of which my ** Frontload Washer/Dryer/Pedestals, [redacted] mattress and box spring, Oak dinning room table and Leather Chairs, Trundle Bed Frame in addition to my personal items taken which include the following: Antique Silver Serving Platter, Crystal trays, Jewelry, Kitchen appliances, Cooking and Bake ware, Iron, Clothing, Under ware, Personal Journal, Family Photos, Son's wedding CD, Down Comforter, even all my Cosmetics and personal hygiene products.Day of move agreement was for 3 moving men. 2 men showed. So "quote 4 to 6 hours" turned out to be more than 10 hours and two trips.Then 2 days later upon returning to clean and return my apt. keys I found more of my Furniture and belongings left behind. When they returned from their 2nd trip the truck was less than 1/2 full. I had to give away furniture and place the rest that I could not fit in my car at the dumpster. Spoke with [redacted] the owner. He set a appointment date to come and access the damages (not knowing of loses because had not yet unpacked). Called him after 4 hours of waiting for him. He said he was working and would call me back and be here later that day. Never called, never showed. After many of the first attempts calling him the only time he finally answered he said by law he had 6 months to make good for everything. He then threatened me by saying I may not even do that and that I should stop trying to reach him. I still left messages and still no reply/response. I finally filed a complaint with the [redacted] and the Consumer Protection Department whom mailed letters to him and he failed to respond to them as well.They advised me to file a claim with the Revdex.com.Then Small Claims.
